You know you're a little too attached to your fandom when you read another user talk about TS in term of "small fandom" and you feel all offended! lol

Although, of course, I could argue that you could never be too attached to your fandom.

I directed the girl to 852 Prospect, hopefully, she'll like it? We always need more TS fens, after all - IMHO everyone should be aware of the prettiness and the slashiness that is Jim/Blair! *nods firmly*

And maybe I've spent too much time with you, but I don't see TS as a small fandom at all - then again, considering my relations, I have no other choice but to acknowledge the fact that it's a big fandom, if only to keep some people quiet.

If someone wants to find a small fandom, just ask me if I'd like to read some fics in it (I swear, people, I have a talent for that - craving for fandoms with 2 fics in them lol)

Well, compared to, say, Buffy, tS does have a small fandom. But that isn't a slur against the prettiness of J/B! It's just a lament that no one puts tS episodes online.

*nods* I see where you're coming from. The thing is, I consider that as soon as a fandom does have a real archive (yeah, I'm strictly talking about fanfic here- cos... fanfic rocks my world lol), as in more just twenty fics gathered in the same place, said fandom starts to be a big fandom, and I still remember when I went to 852 Prospect, asked for J/B and blinked at the mention of more than three *thousand* fics lol- so of course, when I read that post, I *had* to link 852 Prospect, because... well, because 852 Prospect, baby! lol

And I'm just talking about that archive, but well, there's also Cascade Libray, and Wolfup Den, right? Plus all those beautiful smaller sites with lots of Blair and Jim prettiness *g*

I don't like big fandom. More fans, more pricks, more boring fic.
I like my own (very, very) little fandom (someone once wrote it was a dirty one!), where I know most of the people who're all great writers.
And compared to Oz, TS is a *big* one!

I hear that. The first thing I think of when I hear 'big fandom' is HP- and really... if belonging to a big fandom means we have to go through all the crap the HP fens have to go through, well thanks but no thanks *shudder*

That's what I thought lol I guess compared to HP or BtVS? Anyway, as long as a fandom has at least *one* archive like 852 Prospect, we can safely say it's a big enough fandom and that its readers will have enjoy being a part of it *nods happily*
