castalieBecause I've been told that I needed to entertain my Babycakes update today, here I am entertaining my Babycakes - well, hopefully, updating my journal. So. Hi! *waves*
First, some messages to pass along:
Yesterday when I checked my mailbox, I found three, count 'em three parcels - all for me, which filled me with glee for I am five and love when everything is about me [/brat] So the biggest one was a present from me to myself, namely The Tenth Man and Murder in the Rue St. Ann which I'd ordered from amazon. x5_536 and timian, I received the CDs! Thanks a lot *g* I'll finally see the last episodes of QaF and Darklight! Yeap, scruffy-badass!RB is now mine. Well, you know what I mean, anyway ;-) And I also have some bloopers - all in all, wheee! You're both the best, thanks again *g*

I'm just making sure everyone knows I sent them mails - I'm not harassing you or anything or just a tiny bit *cough* D'ailleurs, en parlant de la Fierté Slasheuse, dernier appel à ceux qui pourraient être intéressés - ça se passe toujours ce week-end, jour exact à déterminer, samedi ou dimanche... Second, changing the subject. I watched a new episode of The Dead Zone last night, namely "Heroes and Demons", which I loved to pieces. I thought the storytelling was quite original and I just loved the narrator's voice... I wouldn't have minded her talking a bit more - like maybe forever - because she had such a soothing and lovely voice *dreamy sigh* That was charming. And like I said, original. I really enjoyed the way we followed the story from two POVs - I mean, the one from Johnny & Co and the one from Thaddeus. That was nice. And the drawings were real sweet, too *g*
Speaking of voices, I've been watching my Farscape DVDs and each time Zhaan speaks, she has me in a trance, I swear. Her pattern speech is so... mesmerising. And sexy, too! I just can't get enough of her talking. I also think she's my favourite character. I mean, I like John, and I know I could get into Aeryn a lot more but for now, it's Zhaan who really does it for me. Though actually, another fave? Is Pilot. Dunno why, but I love Big Bug Puppet.
Third, changing the subject again. I read Trials by Writtenbyfates [femailofthespecies andclaudia6913]and wow… that’s one hell of a compelling story. It’s Spike/Wesley and it’s so very hot. Hot-hot and dark-hot, ie the plot is complex and the relationship fucked up but in a wonderful way. The darker tone is beautifully written and the fic got me, hook line and sinker. There’s a sequel in progress, ie the first two parts have been posted over at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
spikenwes - should be a blast. I wanted to share, so there ;-)
And this has nothing to do with the rest but fourth: er when is the deadline for the Numb3rs Slash Ficathon again? Cause methinks I should maybe start to worry about that. I mean, two scenes don’t a fic make so I need togo and hunt find my muses, maybe? Yeah…
