So yesterday night... I didn't spend hours reading Oz fics, and I didn't, in particular, re-read the "Twist of Fate" series. I didn't track down Oz pictures to turn them into icons either. Actually, if you want to know, I didn't read new transcripts, nah uh, nor did I join the TSXF ML. Not me! That was uh... my evil twin sister. Or maybe not... but I wasn't reading Beecher's quotes either. And of course, I didn't add dargie to my buddy list just because she was one of the very first authors I read when I started this Oz fest, and since I did not join TSXF, I didn't notice that she was actually the listmom of this ML too!

Also, since I wasn't surfing yesterday night anyway, I didn't reply to my mails, and I didn't send feedbacks. Oh and "X Men" wasn't on TV either. Got it?

So basically, a) I'm not turning into an Oz freak, and b) I didn't have one hell of a geek night yesterday night! Is that clear?

And now? Now, I'm not watching "Yu-Gi-Oh", and I'm not stalling since I actually *want* nothing more than going back to my English grammar books.

Nothing to be ashamed of, I never saw the thing (only a parody in the Saturday Night Live that was hilarious) Oz is an American series that takes place in jail. Full of bad people fucking other convicts - now that I think about it, I'm not 100% if it's canon or not, but I pretty much think that slash is canon.

Oh it's definitely canon!! That's one of the reasons why this show is so awesome *eg* Prags, bitches, rapes, fucking other convicts-- everything is canon... it's kinda the norm, actually lol

So Oz is a prison drama show (on HBO). Oz is the name given to the Oswald State Penitentiary. It deals with the every day life of several convicts held in a special unit called Emeral City (Em City). We follow in priority the life of said convicts, while meeting the prison staff as well, hacks, priests, teachers, directors, so forth and so on.

It's a violent show that doesn't soften life in prison, and therefore it's a show where cussing, swearing, killing, fucking, raping are actually canon. And I do mean *canon* *eg*

The Oz fandom mostly revolves about the canon m/m couple of Tobias Beecher and Chris Keller, one of the few canon pairings on TV, I must say.

Actually, I should be really disciplined and try to go through the transcripts in chronological order, but I'm just too excited about having --at least-- the imagery of B/K, know what I mean? I'm going to read it like I should, real soon... It's only words for now, granted --well, with the help of my imagination and what I already know about the shows/characters, I mean-- but I'm really impressed by it. I mean... I thought it would be intense, but it's even more so. I can't want to see the real thing, now. And I think it will be worth the wait, really! I'm a really patient girl, anyway *g*

You remind me of myself during my early days of Oz obsession. So much fiction, so little time. :)

As for dargie, she's the best. I got to meet her last summer and she is very cool. And just FYI, She used to be the listmom for TS and TSXF but she turned the reins over to me a few months back. She is still a moderator and is much better at keeping everybody in line than I could ever be. :)

Why thanks for the nice words. Just FYI, I'm no longer listmom (too many real life responsibilities) The TS and TSXF are very ably mom'd by tobyfan these days, while darthrami has taken the reins on C5 and is also doing an admirable job. They're terrific, amazing women.
