I answered this meme at
trollprincess's LJ - although I have this feeling that I'm going to answer it a lot more - so it's my turn to try it.
Well, what can I say, my inner being was starting to feel neglected. I mean, I had to do something. Seriously!
I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

Stuff You Don't Know
Date: 2003-12-11 04:04 pm (UTC)I'm KimberlyFDR and I love slash, especially when it involves disability or handcuffs, though not together;)
Re: Stuff You Don't Know
Date: 2003-12-12 03:49 am (UTC)Disability fics may be one of my kinks too in fics. They usually give such good angsty and intense stories! And handcuffs? Oh boy do I like that too!

I seem pretty friendly to a lot of people, but I'm really a paranoidly shy idiot who actually squeaks out loud when nshe receives an E-mail, or an IM from someone she doesn't know. *nods*

Date: 2003-12-12 03:40 am (UTC)My sis and have one supersition, and my bro has another one. Sis and I always, and I do mean *always* knock wood when we suddenly had a bad thought of if we wished for something good. If we don't have wood, our heads will do. And BIL always has to throw salt over his left shoulder if someone spilt some salt on the table or the floor. It always makes the family and our friends laugh, but man, we cannot not do it! *shrug*

And you're into anime? Wow, I would never have guessed reading your LJ lol
Word on that too. I think we have some animes in common, actually.

Something you don't know, hmmmm.
Okay. When I was a teenager I collected Hardy Boys books, I have about 200 in the spare room, and I'm missing 1 from the first set, 1 that I could never find, grrr. I was overjoyed when the casefiles came out with a more grown up Frank and Joe. I cried when Iola, Joe's girlfriend was killed and just had so much love for those books.
I may have also read Hardy Boy slash but will never admit it ;)

Date: 2003-12-12 03:30 am (UTC)Oh and what are 'Hardy Boys'? You got me curious now *g* And 200? Wow, I don't know what HB is obviously, but 200 still seems like a *lot*

I'm shocked you haven't heard of the Hardy Boys! They're these brothers, Joe is 17, blond and impulsive, Frank 18, brunette and always plans things out. And they solve mysteries!....Yeah I know, work with me here *g*
I got into the book when I was about 13. Each book is one mystery and the first series was pretty old fashioned. The boys had friends called 'chums' etc and solved tame crimes. There was quite a bit of h/c in them with I suspect is what attracted me. You don't want to know how many times they got knocked out *g* I collected all of that series (over 100 of them ) except for one book I could never find. Remember this was pre internet so I had to stick to UK bookshops.
When I was older they brought out the casefiles and Frank and Joe had grown up. They were still the same age but had more modern things, cell phones, computers etc, and girlfriends! I collected those too and was still doing so when I met James.
Then I grew up, got my own house and a kid and collecting kids books wasn't as important. Plus I got sick of looking in the 8-12 age range of book shops *g*
I have read incestfic for them *blush* but it's really rare.
And I bet that's more than you ever wanted to know *g*
