Trip down memory lane
Apr. 8th, 2004 08:32 pmWheee, Babycakes just sent me the pics she took when she came home in December/January *g*
It's the most mundane pics, but they're special because puh-lease... snow and New Year's Eve *g* We don't have enough snow on Ile-de-France, so we get high on it each time it does snow. I love living in the suburb of Paris, but I get jealous every winter when I hear about all the other areas in France that are crawling under snow *pout*
See the uh, street in front of my house *g*

I love snow so much - it makes everything looks so much more beautiful *g*
And here my garden.

Isn't it just purty?
And finally, our very own private Five Stars restaurant for New Year's Eve lol
Note the elegance of the setting. Doesn't it look fetching? lol On the foreground you have the coffe table turned dinner table, and on the right, it's actually the ironing board that I turned into a buffet table *g*
And you can see in the background some of my Christmas decorations, like my sister's Dalmatian sock and my Winnie the Pooh one among others *g* Damn, I love Christmas so much *nostalgic sigh*
Thanks Babycakes, I'd almost forgotten about those pics lol *kisses*

Date: 2004-04-08 11:47 am (UTC)*snorts* yeah, right! good luck trying to get a picture of Mouse! I've known her for 4.5 years and the only pic I have of her was taken on Tien An Men, and then again it's only because she wasn't the only one on the pic that I managed to get her to stand still for the pic. She hates having her picture taken - which is a shame, cause she looked hot on New Year's Eve *glares at Mouse*

Date: 2004-04-08 12:06 pm (UTC)And yeah, uh, well about the pic- see with Babycakes *cough* Though to my defense, I'll say that I did give her permission to take a picture of me, but somehow, she never got around to do it- well, we were pretty busy and everything, ya know?

Date: 2004-04-08 01:47 pm (UTC)And snow =IS= beautiful, I find nothing more romantic than falling snow, a walk around a moonlit lake during a snowful with a guy who's presence makes me stay warm... *GUH*
But it's a pain in the ass on sidewalks & streets, lol.
It only snows a few times per winter in Chicgoland, but it usually makes up for lost time when it does.

In the suburb of Paris it really never snows enough. We had snow two years in a row, but the last time it snowed, I think it was like five years ago or something. I want to live elsewhere in France... just for Winter lol
