Don't worry about the spoilers, I'm getting into that new season totally spoiled *g*
But it's true that spoiler cuts are really appreciated for those who live in Europe (or anywhere else)- I admit it must be getting a little tiresome for users in the US though- I mean, always 'forced' to use the cuts even though it's old news for you all *g*
The first new episode I saw after I was really ,really into Stargate was Birthright, so there was a bunch of stuff I missed. I only recently saw 'Fragile Balance' on rerun, and JUST saw 'Lifeboat' last night, as you know. Still waiting on 'Enemy Mine' and 'Space Race', along with big chunks of seasons 5 and 6. So I still got that lovin' feelin, as it were.
Thank god for reruns. And thank god for SciFi obsessively showing their original programming over and over again. :)
I try to use spoiler cuts, and don't really mind, but I totally spaced that you wouldn't have gotten episodes at the same time as England. But, y'know, dubbing takes time, I suppose. But now we can have it's-new-to-us-though-we-know-what's-gonna-happen squeefests. Yay!
I really loved Enemy Mine but then, I loved the whole Chakah storyline *g*
Yes it's the dubbing that is the culprit. I remember in November at the French Con, Isabelle Chanson (the actress who dubs Sam) was there, and she told us they were still in the process of dubbing... and we just to the new season on Friday. I have to say that they're faster usually, but well...
Also, one of the advantages of having the season so long after and everything, is that we get to have it all in a row, we don't have any break in the middle of it. And after all, we already waited that long, waiting again in the middle of the season wouldn't be pleasant lol
Well, that's nice, at least. There was a BIG space here between Evolution parts 1 and 2, and it was awful. Especially since I was just getting into 'ooh! new Stargate!", and then there was no new Stargate for like a month, in addition to being a cliff-hanger. AND there was no new Angel at the time, so it was not a happy time in my life. Stupid Chirstmas break...
