I finally met Envy in today's FMA episode. I was curious about this character and was wondering when I would get to meet him - twas weird though, he almost looks like a dark!Ed - the keyword being almost I guess, but still. When I think of it, FMA really surprised the hell out of me. I'd never have guessed I would love that anime so much - I mean, okay, I never thought I wouldn't get into it either, but it did surprise me anyway - the kind of surprise that makes me a happy camper, of course *g* Now I'm waiting for TPTB to decide to release the FMA DVDs so that I can spend even more money on beautiful and shiny box sets *nodnod*

On an unrelated note, I'm almost done with feeding Clark with everything he's supposed to have and it always surprises me how many details there are to make computer life complete - feels like there's always a file or a program or something missing, but I'm tracking them all, yay! Also hey, wanna see my new desktop? And btw, did you miss my rhetorical questions? lol Anyway, here aforementioned new desktop - shiny, huh? I think so too *nodnod*

Speaking of which. Is it true? There's no new Lost on Thursday Wednesday and the show is on a new hiatus? I mean, again? How many hiatus can there be anyway?

Now, and since the flist is stubbornly refusing to update and entertain me, I'll go and work on the last ST challenges that were neglected during my own hiatus - I certainly don't want our archive to get outrageously behind again. No sirree!

Since I'm on the subject of TS... maybe I should try to talk my muses into actively thinking of starting the fic we I need to write for [livejournal.com profile] sentinelsecrets - or talk them into picking one of the two plot bunnies I have at least, and hopefully turn said plot bunny into a real fic. Unless they want something else entirely but then, I'd appreciate if they sent me a new idea and soon. I mean, there's still plenty of time, but I'm afraid I'll check the date tomorrow and we'll be, say, the 29th and then... what will I do *doesn't panic yet* It's not as if a 2000-word story is that difficult to write, but my muses are such difficult little shits most of the time that they make the process much harder than it originally is. I love them, I do, they bring me some great stuff sometimes - but boy are they annoying and difficult too! *sigh*

Lost

I mentioned this to someone the other day, but I've forgotten who .... Mustn't have been you though, right?

Yes, the rumours are true and there's no new Lost this week. I've actually heard that the show will either be off or in repeats for six weeks, which makes sense if you look at your calendar. Six weeks means that we'll be getting new episodes during the May Sweeps period, when the networks are in an all-out ratings war.

HOWEVER, all is not (aarrgghh, so sorry for the pun) "lost". I have a question to toss out, which I'll do in a post just as soon as this stupid office move is over. (Speaking of the move, I haven't even started packing yet, so if I go completely silent tomorrow, you'll know why.)

I'm going off to look at your new desktop now. *waves goodbye*

Of course, I'll probably be here another three hours if you can't sleep and want to talk. :-)

To be honest, it could have been me. I caught up with so many entries and comments since Sunday that I might have remembered the mention of not!Lost without really remembering the rest *cough*

And six weeks? Man! One positive thing when we finally get US shows in France is that the whole season airs without any hiatus - we never have to wait more to get the whole package. But considering we sometimes have to wait six months or a year, it's the least they could do, mind.

Being silent for tomorrow will be bearable, more than that and we'll get antsy, just so you know *wink*

Not feeling sleepy right now and always in a talkative mood lol

Just putting a show on hiatus is a lot better than what they do sometimes, namely, keep moving it around to different days/timeslots without letting anyone know. You know this show you love to watch is there somewhere, but they've hidden it from you. Hugely frustrating.

Isn't moving a show around to different days/timeslots a bad sigh for the show though? Like they don't even care when they show it. Unless they get a promotion, I suppose *ponders*

Yeah, that usually means the show is in trouble, and typically it's the kiss of death for the show. (Of course it's a self-fulfilling prophecy -- if the show can't be found, how can the viewing numbers improve.)

Re FMA, ::sits on hands::

...Yeah. The series did the same to me, and if you've just met Envy, boy you're in for a mindfuck. Everything really strange is still ahead!

But. Your observation scares me. Not telling, though! ::g::

Working on making a semi-sensible playlist to post and picking out some favorites to spam ze flist with, here.

Seriously?! [I like that word, but note the different punctuation mark this time *nodnod*] Eeek, I can't wait now! Though thanks for not telling me anything cause I'm totally spoiler-free as far as FMA is concerned so I don't want to know. I mean no, I do, but I don't. Well, hopefully you know what I mean lol

Thank you *g*

I've started *mine*, too - in fact it's completely outlined. *snerk* However, since I have a VERY close relationship with recalcitrant muses I'm using my "muse from hell" icon which is going to kick start your little darlings, guaranteed. Sit down and write. It will work.

ooooooooooo......an Outline. Color me Impressed. Is it like a *real* outline? Written down and everything in outline form? Or is more like mine...which is just sorta bouncing around the inside of my head on the drive to work and I hope to bejeesus I remember that killer line I came up with when I get back home 12 hours later? jeez I hate run-on sentances. *g*

*bg* Well... I have a notebook. There's a page for Sen Secrets. It has writing on it. In my mind, voila - outline! (Any resemblance to an actual outline is purely incidental.:)

And why is it the best lines come to one while driving? I end up writing them down on the back of grocery receipts at stoplights.

My little shits muses work best under pressure, I think cause they're like me and I? Work best under pressure. Which is why I'm a Nightmare of a Student, but hey, everything is done in time. I just start later than everyone else. Also, I can't stress, ever - so starting late doesn't traumatise me - at.all. Too bad my muses picked that quirk of mine.

Mouse hon, not sure what I could do to update you but I am glad to see you back.

I'll cling to Numbers with you. But I'm not worried for a change. (So often when I really love something it's the kiss of death.) But it seems to be doing very well in the ratings, even on Friday night which traditionally is a slow viewing night in the US.
