Thing the first, I hate you FMA - I hate you *sniffles* Okay, so I watched episode 25, ie "Words of Farewell", ie "Farewell Ceremony, ie "Whatever Title It Does or Does Not Have" and I can't believe they did this - can't believe they fucking killed Hugues *hiccups* I mean, no, I can, I've been into anime long enough not to be surprised by anything, but at the same time I won't ever get used to them pulling a stunt like that and man, they seriously upset me with that one...It's been a long time since I cried in front of my tv, like, maybe a couple of weeks - yeah, this constitutes a long time for me - but they sure did it for me here. And it happened so quickly too, so swiftly, you know? It always makes the scene so much more real when it's done in an almost non-nonsense way - one sec you're alive, the next you're not and man, it's just painful. Hugues isn't coming to come back, is he? He's really gone? *quivering bottom lip* I'm so going to miss him *is so sad* Life for a fangirl can be so sad *sigh*

Thing the second - now, this doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I'm already going into withdrawal regarding both Lost and Numb3rs - not that the thought of going through the old episodes doesn't please me, cause it does - please me, I mean, and I do foresee some frantic and happy watching when I'll have the CDs in my possession but I really want new material to focus on, I miss the thrill of the discovery and er yes, I'm talking about a tv show here, but you know what I mean, it is thrilling... just a different kind of thrill than a truly thrilling er... thing *frown* Or something?

Thing the third - you know you're completely, totally and truly drained when you don't even have the energy to make a detour from The Place to the mall and buy the Angel S5 DVDs you've been dreaming about for, like, ever, or you know, at least a month, even though OMG we're finally the 16th today and yes, it did come out on DVDs for real this time. But that was how exhausted I was this afternoon, and now that I think of it, my mind still feels like it's wrapped up in cotton wool *rubs eyes with fist* But know what? *beams all of a sudden* It just makes me even more pleased that I wrote my SenSecrets story yesterday cause I don't think I'd have been able to do it tonight *had to mention how she finished her SenSecrets fic so early once again...* And I? Won't mention it again, promise.

Thing the fourth - as incredible as it sounds, weekend to London might have been put on the table once more. My my, Rissy and I might even succeed in going after all. I'm sure stranger things had happened *g*

Awwww. ::superhuge hug:: I know how you feel about Hughes. It got to me too. One of those huge moments where you realize that in FMA, anything can happen. And that anything probably will happen. He was such a wonderful guy! All silliness aside, he really loved his family, was dedicated to making a better country, to backing up Mustang in his pursuit for one... and doing everyone's dirty work for them, which eventually got him. Yes, I adored Hughes. Damn you, bastards, why did you have to kill him! ;__;

Hugues was a wonderful character, a study in contradiction and his dedication to his family, to Roy and to just everything else really made me love and respect him and this is just so sad *sob* The scene at the cemetary? Killed me! It was raining in my house too - a lot!

No, no, Clark is doing better than he used to so it would definitely not kill him, but seeing how long it can take to download an episode, I didn't want to waste time on episodes I'll get later on on CDs - and it's just that Lost and Numb3rs both being on a hiatus now, it seems like a long time before I'll get new stuff, and waiting is just tough! lol

It's more stress-induced fatigue than anything, so I'll just ride it out or something *g* Hopefully, it'll be better next week, even maybe sooner...

Hey, neat! Thanks! I might dare the archives again... hell, the last time I was interested in FMAfic the first place wasn't even up, I'm pretty sure. It was all over The Pit and LJ and that was pretty much it.

Past!HughesxPast!Roy is one of my OTPs. They definitely have something special, but I hesitate to picture them in an actual relationship in the present day. It has that 'opportunities never fully realized and now the ship has sailed' flavor to me, but maybe that's just me. Beats the hell out of RoyxEd though ::ducks as the halfbricks from the RoyxEd fans start flying in:: ::g::

I looove the pastfic like the angsty angsty crack it is, but I also like polyamory, so Hughes/Gracia with Hughes maintaining a relationship with Roy works for me too. *purrs* Roy/Ed is really so completely thoroughly not my thing. I can see why people ship it, I'm just personally not going to touch it with a ten foot pole. I'm happily pretending it doesn't exist and hang out over in my corner busy groping Greed, Hughes, Kimberly, Envy, and Scar. XD

Re: Hugues/Roy? As it happens I've been following a FMA Hugues/Roy DJ over at yaoi_daily and enjoying it, too. I truly love the relationship between those two characters in the anime --Roy really made me ache during the funeral-- and pairing them in fics doesn't seem that far fetched to me, so yeah, I'd definitely be interested in that pairing *g*

I've had some communities recc'ed, namely fma_yaoi, fma_recs and envy_x_ed, but if you have more, I'm all ears *g*

Do you want on my scans filter? I've got about 4 or 5 FMA doujinshi scanned so far (mostly hughes/roy, although i've got one hughes/ed and one havoc/roy posted) and about 20 or so books waiting for me to get off my ass and scan. :p

Those are the main ones, fm_alchemist is the big open community, there's also a digest community for it so you don't have to watch and wade through all the fanwank and newbies and general lame, but I can't recall the name of that comm. >:D Although if you like 500 word challenges, I opened up fma500 a little over a week ago. :3
