Numb3rs 1x13 - "Manhunt" Caps 1/3

All right so right now? I should be in bed - or heading to bed, at least, but I'm not. Why? Because tonight I discovered the joy of capping! enigel answered my plea and shared her oh so nifty little program with me and lo! I'm doing my own caps and everything *kisses enigel again*

So. I literally jumped on "Manhunt" and did The Last Scene. Those who watched the episode know what I'm talking about. I did around 31 caps of that scene? Well no, I mean, I made around 31 caps of that scene. I also decided to post them in three separate posts but I'm this close to actually start with the third batch because Batch #3 has two of my favourite pics of Charlie, ever. Also yes, this picspam is sorta Charlie-centric but all the Eppes Men are there, in all their glory.

Batch #1 [10 caps] aka Is This A Reliable Dictionary?

Let's start in the middle of the action: The Eppes Men playing chess while Charlie is working - cue to the Anomaly v Anomoly Debate.


"Excuse me? I don't know how to spell anomoly? I know how to spell anomoly, all right? I use that word, like, all the time. Like just now? I used anomoly twice - well, make that three times - and with the correct spelling, too! See, I'm a genius I visualise the word in my incredible brain - so please, do yourself a favour and stop with this nonsense. Let's go back to our game so that I can kick your ass, again might I add - not that winning mean anything, of course."


But Daddy and Bro have no intention of letting go. First because... well, because they're right and second because they have a Plan. Or maybe they're just right, but the conspiracy theory is going strong anyway.


"Look, this is ridiculous - let's put you our of your misery, shall we? I'll be nice with you and won't mention it again... too much. Let's just check in a dictionary - and then, we'll decide of your punishment for daring doubting me."


"Arrogant little shit," think daddy!Eppes and bigbrother!Eppes.


Then they proceed to Make The Genius Cry.


While aforementioned genius is busy being over-confident and oblivious to the drama making ready to unfold before his eyes. "I did mention I use that word all the time, right? Do you want me to draw a chart of how many times I do? In a day? Cause I can - remember how I was multiplying four-digit numbers when I was three? This is nothing. I can use the papers in front of me, even. Oh hey! I have chalk in my pocket, I could write it on a blackboard?"


Cue to dramatic music preceding Painful Revelation but before, let's take a moment to look at this picture - chess!kink!


And finally ladies and - well ladies, the moment we were all impatiently waiting for dreading. The moment when Charlie realises that... he's been wrong all his life! Also? Dictionary!kink, yay! Plus! Incesty fingers almost touching, double yay!


Charlie's world crumbles right before his eyes, "It's spelled anomaly? That is such a ludicrous theor-- now wait a minute! Is this a reliable dictionary?"


Which of course makes Don and Alan - and just everyone else peeping on them - laugh because PLEASE, how could it not?

I LOVE THAT WHOLE SCENE!

Maaan, I did it again? I promise I'll try not to scream too much next time I mention the scene. See? I'm making progress, already!

Also for the record? Today sucked as far as studying - supposedly - goes but it rocked as far as geeking goes because I coded all the remaining challenges for sentinel_thurs so now I'm totally up to date on my part of the job, woohoo!

PS: *peeks at alarm clock* I'm so going to hate myself today - but I'll remind myself it was all for the glory of Numb3rs *crazy fangirl*
