castalieSome RL stuff first, and since I don't want to overwhelm you with too many details, I'll cut the thing *g*
It's a little weird having Babycakes in the house. It's been so long since we actually *saw* each other. We usually don't really realize it, cos we're talking daily to each other, be it on the phone, in mails, Y!M, or LJ, but it's true that it's been too long since we saw each other in the flesh *g* I went to pick her up at the station, and when I saw her- oh boy it felt so *great*!
Btw, do some of you remember the haircut she mentioned sometime ago? Well, she's just gorgeous like this! I'm just saying *g*
Anyway, we had a nice evening. First, we gave each other our presents. And there were more presents from my side since I had to give her the gift I'd bought in Denmark *and* her B-day pressie! Yeah, I went to Denmark last year, and her birthday was in July- you have something to say? *tries to look threatening*
Anyway, she was apparently happy with the presents I got her, so I was really happy too *beaming* And the presents she gave *me* were awesome! Four books, guys, FOUR *g* Two "Le Petit Nicolas", which is a series I read when I was a kid. I've been wanting to collect all my favorite books from my childhood all over again, and I'm now up to three (two from Babycakes, and one I bought last week). Then, two books dealing with homosexuality : Homosexuality : A History by Colin Spencer, and Homosexuals in France since 1968. Can't wait to read them *g*
Of course, we also had to go on-line, but I have to say that I sorta forced her --and yes, I know how unbelievable it sounds-- cos apparently the woman lost her LJ reflexes *shakes head* It'd better come back to her! lol
We had simple dinner with mom, and then we started our DVD watching Marathon with Yami no Matsuei. It's been a while since I've been wanting her to watch it, so I thought it was the perfect occasion *g* We watched the first three arcs, then she started to doze off- the best part is yet to come. Maybe tomorrow, then?
At least someone knows how to go sleep at decent hour *sigh* Well, I think it was around 1.00 a.m by then. *I* couldn't got to sleep of course, so here I am, cruising the net.
Anyway, today was nice already, but tomorrow should be even better. Tomorrow, it's RoTK again! And New Year Eve too, of course lol
Now, on an unrelated note. The problems I had this afternoon with some of my sites being now off-limits? Well, I can actually access most of them through a different link than the one I usually used, ie the one from my Favorite Sites folder, after all. I guess it's a relief.
852 Prospect still doesn't work, though- at least not the page with all the new fics. Oh and Susan Foster's site is also a new casualty btw. I saved The Library of Moria though, and my own site. I just need to use the links at my LJ, or the ones I can find on google, but I have to avoid the ones I bookmarked- that is the key.
Yeah, color me confused *sigh*
I'm happy that I can access most of the sites lost this afternoon, but man, why did 852 Prospect have to stay wounded? I mean, this is *the* TS slash archive, this is my slash heaven *sob*

Oh, before leaving. I started Behind Bars this afternoon, and I love what I read so far- I love the style! It's really compelling. The way the writers are 'talking' to their readers is really interesting *g* I'm so going to enjoy this book!

I mean, you know that I have a wireless keyboard, well, I'd just given her said keyboard to write her comment, but *I* was using the mouse. So I was clicking here, and clicking there, and when it was time to pick an icon, I didn't understand why I was facing *my* own list of user pics! lol
And yeah, I'm pretty happy to have her home too, as you can imagine *g* She's not sleeping in my bed though- oh well, things can't be perfect, can they? *eg*

Which definitely wasn't the case! lol And technically, I didn't ask her to leave my bed, I just suggested it was high time for her to sleep cos she was just totally dozing off. Oh and right now, I'm the only one commenting. Babycakes is downstairs watching "Jurassik Park" and drinking tea --I had a nice Blair moment btw-- while I'm upstairs watching a kiddie movie and cruising LJ.
I'm trying to write a real entry- wanna talk about "Master and Commander", but I'm just so tired (slept 8 hours in *two* nights) and my brain is sorta foggy atm *sigh*
