Why, yes, a new show - and maybe even two!

Yesterday was nicely busy but I did find time to watch Prison Break and The Dead Zone like planned.

My first thought when I watched Prison Break? Wow, Toby wasn't in Oz for more than, what, a day and he has already found himself a rapist and an owner... Michael? What did you find! Nothing! The boy is so slow - then I realised that no, I wasn't watching Oz at all. But seriously, I wasn't expecting anything the likes of Oz - I mean, Oz is Oz and Prison Break is... not. But I could get into it - scary words, I know. My problem is that there seemed to be only alpha men in that show and, well, alpha males are nice and dandy - after all, I love nothing more than Jim or Jack going all alpha on Blair or Daniel - but they're not the kind of characters I'm attracted to, see? So I was, like, okay but who am I supposed to root for here? And then Michael started growing on me. The man has Issues, that's for certain, and talk about living under pressure! Poor little guy. I had problem downloading the second episode so had to start the downloading from scratch - which was kinda annoying - but when I woke up it was finally at 100% so I think I'll watch it today after I'm back home. And I'll see if I want to follow the show.

I also watched "Saved" [tdz] and I really liked it! I just love the Enemies Must Work Together theme - always works like a charm with me *g* And speaking of enemies, the very last scene with Janus? Well, with vision!Janus was so very brilliant! I loved it beyond the telling of it - talk about an original method of communication, alright. That was, well, yeah brilliant. Janus is one hell of an interesting character. And of course, with a name like that, he couldn't be anything else :-) It's kind of a giveaway, in a way - unless the writers were just fond of mythology, mind, but that wouldn't be cool... So anyway the whole thing worked pretty well :-) I also can't get enough of how Johnny's lovers Walt and Bruce are always there, no matter what. I mean, one moment you have Johnny trying to solve the problem and having some difficulties doing so, the next he called his men to the rescue - how sweet is that? I think I need a tdz OT3 icon!

Lastly, eeeek Tru Calling premieres tonight! Eliza Dushku! In my telly! For forty-two minutes! *loves* And even better yet, the DVDs have already been released - last month or maybe two months ago - so if I fall in love with the series, I won't have to wait to get the box set! Should I do a pre-emptive icon strike? I think I should.

No wait, lastly - for real. So in order to show estrella30 that she is, in fact, not alone in the Questionable Tastes department, I'll quote a little line from a very silly show that I don't follow per se but which always cracks me up when I watch it, namely Samantha, Oups! - it tells the burlesque daily life of an "almost" normal girl and her friend, namely Samantha and Chantal - and in case you're wondering, yes, they're played by men. So anyway Samantha is this very sweet but oh so very dumb girl and she says and does the stupidest things but boy does she crack me up! Et aujourd'hui la scène se passe à l'auto école - pour passer le code:

Oh et la voix de Samantha? Je peux pas l'imiter là, forcément et c'est bien dommage - imaginez une voix que l'on attribue d'habitude aux blondes gentilles mais un peu bête

Chantal: *arrive en retard* *prend place à côté de Samantha*
[en fond sonore, on entend le bruit de diapositives qui défilent]
Samantha: Ah te voilà! Hey le type, il est trop gentil! Mais alors ses photos de vacances? Il a pris que le trajet! *pouffe de rire* Et alors vraiment, il a aucune confiance en lui, il se pose toujours des tas de questions! Est-ce-que je tourne à droite, est-ce-que je tourne à gauche, il sait jamais! *re-pouffe*

What can I say? She cracks me up!

PS: Saturday Sans Stargate - so weird *sigh*

I don't watch TV anymore, but I saw a bit of Samantha at my parents' 2 weeks ago and it really was quite funny ! I feel guilty of laughing since I don't like this international plot against Blondes, but still, it IS funny.

It makes me laugh a lot, I can't help it. And sure, technically this Dumb Blondes conspiracy is annoying, but at the same time, I don't believe in it, so I'm like, giving myself the right to laugh my ass off when I watch stuff like that, if you know what I mean *g* Sometimes you just want to laugh *nodnod*

Been watching several episodes of Tru Calling, as I posted on my LJ this morning and loved it. It's kinda predictable so far, but Eliza just rocks, I love that woman! And her boss on the show is cool too, or at least, he gets cooler as the show proceeds. I thought he was a bit of a dork in the first ep :P Can't wait to hear what you think of it, not enough people seem to know or care about this show :D

I've been your entry this morning. I've been hesitating between clicking on the spoiler or not - and decided for the time being that I liked going into it not knowing anymore than the general plot. I think I'll read your review after I finally watch the premiere :-)
