Early classes will be the death of me! Note to self: sleep at night. More than three hours, if possible *yawns* There's no way I'll skip class this afternoon but, boy, I would love to *rubs eyes*
Yeah anyway. I watched Supernatural last night *loves*
Well, *loves* but *shudders* too - that episode totally freaked me out! I mean, talk about playing on my fears, pfew. Sure, it's the whole point of the series - well, I'm just saying it's working. Wonderfully so.
Mirrors are dangerous, I always knew it! Me? I'm afraid of mirrors. Damn, between Lost and Supernatural, I'm coming out as such a wimp *rolls eyes* But mirrors! They reflect things - I'm sorry but that's asking for trouble! And "Bloody Mary" proved me right. I'm not always keen on windows at night but I'm not afraid of them as much as mirrors - though I might reconsider now, of course. Thank you, Supernatural!
Also, but those kids don't have an ounce of common sense! You do not, under any circumstances play with urban legends - in particular when they're on the evil side of the road! I mean, repeating Bloody Mary three times in front of the mirror? That's insane! I can't believe all those girls wererational enough stupid enough not to be afraid of it all *shudder* I remember when I was a kid and we would end up doing those spiritism sessions at the end of pretty much each birthday parties or whatnot... each time it was time for us to, like, repeat something three times in front of the mirror with a candle, I would back down - I would let them do it and ask questions afterwards because well, yeah it was fun in a scary way - but I didn't play. Just - you never know what could have happened. Did I say I was a wimp? Good, then. I certainly didn't want to see the devil's face or see the date of my death suddenly appear on said mirror, thank you very much.
So anyway, the whole episode freaked me out. For real. That was good, actually - except not. Except, no it was cool. So far, every little trick they used worked quite well - except for the Wendigo but they're forgiven. And anyway, the wendigo was, I don't know, a physical creature, you know? So it wouldn't have scared me the same way, anyway.
The brother dynamic now - is still a thing of beauty *g* The tension and the caring - I can't get enough of it. Dean's "Sammy?" made me melt so much! And Sam? It's not nice keeping secrets from your brother! Now he'll feel all rejected and all. You'll have to fuck him long and slow to make him feel better tonight, alright? Thanks!
And so the plot thickens! Sam had visions of Jessica's death? That's... yeah, that's freaky too. Wonder what the hell is going on with that arc - it's nice that they spiced it up a little, though ;-)
Scariness all around, yay!
Hey wanna share some of your Fear of the Dark kinda fears? Like okay I'm afraid of mirrors - can't sleep well if there's one in the room. I also can't sleep on my back because someone could stab me in my stomach omg! Am not kidding either - even as a kid, that was the reason why I couldn't sleep on my back at all, this fear. As I grew up I compromised with myself and decided that if I had a pillow on aforementioned stomach I could accept the position but it was a hard bargain, believe me. Also, in case you're wondering why I just didn't leave myself alone as my natural sleeping position is either on my stomach or my side anyway, I'll answer that during summer - in particular when I was in Italy - when it's really hot, sleeping on your back is better, so there - also, when falling victim to a bout of insomnia, I need to try all kind of different positions [which sounds so much better when we're talking about sex, btw] So anyway, after the no-way phase and the okay-but-with-a-pillow phase, I upgraded to no-pillow-anymore... except I put my arms on my belly, still. Just - I need something, you know? Or else I won't fucking sleep! Because I could be stabbed! And okay if you feel like sharing you fears with me? Be my guest ;-)
To change the subject now and on to something sweet and fun and hot - not that the Winchester boys aren't hot, mind - here's a little TS rec.
spikedluv loves diversity. She also loves us, which is why she shared her last piece of writing with us, which is Jim and Blair on Atlantis fic. Jim and Blair on Atlantis, yes, but Jim and Blair on Atlantis doing transporter sex! Not kidding, either. They're sexing up in the transporter... with possessive!Jim to boot. I'm adding that little detail in case you're a possessive!Jim lover like me... Go on, read!

because it looks like a person hanging there.
Yeah, talk about giving yourself a scare, uh?

Lol, we always talked about doing it but, in the end, mass chickening out happened. Better safe than sorry and all that! ;)
also can't sleep on my back because someone could stab me in my stomach omg!
OK, so I kinda have a very similar problem. I always sleep with my front towards the wall or, if there's no wall, on the stomach (well, in the recent years, after some serious trouble, I've started sleeping on my back and with my back towards the wall, but I still much prefer my original ways) because I hate leaving my stomach exposed. It's never been about someone stabbing my per se, it's just that it's like all soft and vulnerable and you can't seriously expect me to leave it exposed. I also always walk with my arms crossed somewhere in the stomach area because of it.
And, no matter how hot it is, it takes me ages to be able to stick any part of my body outside my blankets. I just get this feeling that as long as I'm all bundled up, nothing bad can happen but, as soon as some part of me pokes ot, something will grab me.
How's that for weird? :P

Date: 2005-10-15 11:25 am (UTC)irrationally scaredvery superstitious about looking in a mirror at night because of what might appear in it besides me ^^;! So I found this week's Supernatural frightening... I'm okay about it now because I've just watched it and it's morning but I just know that I'm going be thinking about it tonight!no subject
Date: 2005-10-15 11:30 am (UTC)Same wavelength *high fives*
That episode worked so well because it played perfectly well with that fear of mine *bows to Supernatural*

Date: 2005-11-12 10:31 pm (UTC)I'm thinking about voluntarily spoiling myself about the kind of evil they encounter in each episode, so I will at least be forewarned. And as it happens, I'm always catching up with shows in the late evening to early night - not the best moment to watch this kind of stuff... I remember how creeped out I was after watching The Ring; I had to postpone watching the second half until a bright sunny afternoon. (I don't know if you've seen it, but You-Know-Who looked like the scary character in it.)
OTOH, it is Phantom Traveler that's to blame for rekindling my waning interest in the series (read: in the Sam/Dean-ness of it all). It's also interesting to see, for once, the two of us on the same side regarding the vital issue of who's on top :D

Date: 2005-11-13 02:41 pm (UTC)I haven't seen The Ring yet but I've read on different reviews that Creepy Girl looked like one of the characters in the movie yet. I also have to say that I'm afraid I'll be scared to death when watching The Ring - I'm thinking I might postpone the whole thing lol

Vital is definitely the word lol Happy to see there, btw ;-)
