Yes. I watched "Nightmare". Now do I feel like caplocking this entry? MAYBE BECAUSE YES I DID SEE THE LOVE OMG! Happy now? Well, I was happy, believe me ;-)

SPN 1x14 - "Nightmare" in two parts; a) the review and b) the screencaps.

Okay so guys? I'm gonna say it now so it's out of the way, all right?

Oh.My.God! Sam and Dean in priest uniforms! Priest!Dean! Did the writers read our fics and decided to prove their love for us? Because... I mean, priest!kink omg! DEAN AND SAM IN PRIEST UNIFORMS! Did you SEE? *dies*

Good, now that it's done, I can maybe do a normal review *cough* I really loved the episode. I loved Sam quite a lot in it - as for Dean, well when have I ever not love him, right?

First, something that was so very awesome in "Nightmare" is the trust between Sam and Dean - so techniquely it's nothing new new but I thought it was all over the place here. I mean, it's so very clear Dean doesn't want to do a LOT of things in that ep, but he ~~obeys~~ trusts Sam and follows his lead. Also, kudos to Dean for not killing Sam when he wakes him up so brusquely at the beginning of the episode and for just leaving the room and getting in the car just because Sam says they have to.

So, Sam's powers are getting stronger. I love me some psychic powers! In particular when they're painful - I have a thing for painful visions and stuff *evil look* And I was right with Sam, I kept wondering why the hell he was connected to the Millers that way because it felt totally out of the blue and okay so there was one hell of a connection. I'll admit I hadn't really seen that one coming. So Max was in the same boat? And now I'm wondering what that little piece of information might mean exactly. I mean, Sam isn't the only who was "chosen" then - whatever the true reason behind it - but for what? And why? And how many guys - or girls, of course - have lived through the same things? That's just confusing. I can't wait to see how the whole thing will develop, now I'm even more curious than before.

Dean's trying to be all cool and reassuring was so sweet. In particular since it wasn't exactly convincing - poor guy certainly took his time with the whole "I'm not freaked out" but the fact that he's trying for Sam's sake? *melts*

Hey something interesting, it's the second time Dean wants to kill a human. First in "Faith" and now here... more than that, he wanted to kill a kid, if it makes a difference, which obviously it doesn't. And it's the second time Sam stops him from doing so. It's quite chilling how Dean is ready to use the same method for both demons and humans - except obviously in certain situations he puts both on the same level. I keep wondering about the story behind it; did he actually already kill humans during the time Sam was away? I mean, the way he talks about, it gives the impression he's already done it - I sure wish we were given some backstory here because man, it sounds awfully interesting!

Something else that is interesting is how even though everything told me it was a vision and therefore Dean wouldn't be really dead, even knowing that? When Max pulled the trigger and we saw the blood splashing on the wall and Dean with a hole in the head? Well, my heart might have skipped a beat anyway. I don't want to see such a scene. EVER *shudder* Though it was cool, yay!

Why? Because it made Sam go crazy with fear and worry and use his powers to move the cabinet in front of the door of the closet. And see, I could write a whole essay about that scene and how it's Sam's love for his brother that makes him do it but I won't. In lieu of a long and annoying essay, I'll quote

Sam was only able to use his powers BECAUSE of Dean and his OBVIOUS desire to put his penis in him.

And then we have the last scene, which oh yeah was all kind of brilliant too. I mean, we have the cute and sweet with Dean reassuring his brother that he won't ever turn evil!Sam because he is here and as long as he's with him, nothing bad will happen which - *melts again* Then we have the funny with the whole Vegas thing and then! We have the intense with the look. Dude, Dean's look when he watches his brother in that very last moment? Chilling. So cool!

Oh and speaking of look; I loved the scene when Sam tells Dean that he realised how lucky they were to have their dad, when he acknowledged what John did for them. Dean looked so happy at that moment, so relieved in a way that his bro finally saw it. That was sweet as well.

Two random thoughts:

Dude, laser device thingie! So cool. I think everyone should MacGyver one of those in their spare time.

Dean. Cleaning. His.Guns. Ohhh *blink* Nice!
