Ohh The 4400 rocked tonight! I have a question though, cause I can't wait to know what the whole deal is about. So is Jordan really dead? And if he is, who stole his corpse and why? I can't believe we won't get to see him again. If he's really off the show I mean. For reals? And forever?

Also, The 4400 is one of those series where I don't really have one favourite character, I love a bunch of them but I have to admit I have a slight preference for Shawn and Jordan - and, of course, the Jordan-Shawn relationship. The dying scene was awesome - Shawn broke my heart *sigh*

Oh and no surprise whatsoever at Kyle being the sniper - and it almost felt like a cheat somehow. Like, where's the Big Revelation? Where's the twist? But whatever; it's still interesting because the whole story behind is quite intriguing.

And heee M6 has been showing several previews for Stargate s9 tomorrow and I'm thrilled because - well, from what I could hear in those little commercials - Cameron has Methos' voice! Maurice Decoster is in my Top Five favourite dubbers, I positively love his voice and having him in Stargate as one of the main characters is brilliant, yay! I can't wait for tomorrow *bounces* And I was well inspired not to plan anything for Saturday night ;-)

I've watched SPN 1x01 last night and I'd completely forgotten that I'd apparently downloaded the unaired pilot. So SAM? I shouldn't have been surprised when you mentioned that version, it seems I have the same one *facepalm* Also I just have one thing to say about that pilot: it's no wonder I fell hard for Dean right from the start because awww but he's so huggable already *wibble*

And on the subject of wibbling? The next episodes of SPN are going to KILL me! I know I say this on a regular basis but it's true all the same. SPN keeps killing me *bounces*

Speaking of SPN? I committed fic again, hee! It's not post-The Benders or anything though, more like during-The Benders as it's a little missing scene from that episode - nothing big but obviously the ficlet wanted to be written, so I surrendered *nods* And I haven't lost hope of writing another "The Benders" centric story anyway ;-)

Now off to hunt some jsquared fics. Just because *nods*

PS: Ohhhh but that "autosaved draft" thing works like a charm! *loves*

OOooh, hey, wanna beta my 'Bugs' fic? *grins*

And UNAIRED PILOT?? WOT WOT?? *leans forward*

Aww I'm sorry I usually don't beta fics, I'm not sure I'm good beta material lol Well, I never ever beta as far as grammar and spelling are concerned, so the only thing I could do, eventually, is tell you whether I think the story flows or if the voices sound right - though of course, I admit it might be subjective and all *g*

Also wait, wait. When I say 'unaired' I'm not sure whether there were differences or not with the other version. The thing is, my version seems to be one that circulated before the one that aired for real - but is it different? I have no idea. I didn't even remember before I watched it again last night *shakes head*

I'm not sure I'm good beta material . . . the only thing I could do, eventually, is tell you whether I think the story flows or if the voices sound right

I think you'd be an great beta for flow, voices, plot holes, etc. You have an excellent "feel" for the characters, and that can be a big help to a writer. She could get a grammar/punctuation beta from someone else. Don't sell yourself short.

Benders fic?! Gimme! *g* (you know, if you want to... ;-))

You mean for a beta? Cause that would be awesome, I'm always looking for new beta as to not annoy my regular ones lol

Now if you just meant 'gimme' as in 'hee, I want to read it, too' well thanks for the interest anyway :-)

Either, or both :) I'll happily beta if you tell me what kind of beta you want (grammar/spelling/plot/all of the above) *g*

Lol You're a star, thanks *g*

Seeing this just 'a little fic' I'm looking for a grammar/spelling beta in particular. Having said that, if the plot - well there's no plot as such but say if the story doesn't flow at all, I'd love to hear about your opinion *g*

You know it's incest, don't you? I don't think I mentioned the category in my post...

Incest doesn't worry me at all ;) Feel free to send it over! (To my yahoo addy, the hiddenmuse one doesn't work anymore :( )

Good to hear - well, it wouldn't be a problem as such per se, but regarding the story? It wouldn't work, so yay! Also, there's no smut, just a kiss *g*

That was fast lol I just sent the fic your way, thanks again :-)

I haven't come across the 'autosaved draft' thing yet, but it sounds great! I always copy my posts before posting, now I won't have too ^_^!

I hadn't noticed until today - though it's really recent, isn't it? - but after I pasted my entry - I always write my entries in a mail first, save as I write and then paste the whole thing to my journal - to the box, I closed it and opened a new and bam, the whole entry reappeared after I clicked... pure magic :-)

Ooh, fic again! Great! *big grin*

So, you've got the unaired pilot too? I really wonder what the differences with the aired pilot are.

Dude, I'm on a roll! I'm so not used to it that it's almost scary lol

Yeah, that's the one I have too - how could I forget it was the case? I have no idea lol

cause I can't wait to know what the whole deal is about.

We too would like to know that, but this is not how cliff-hangers work. *g*

In short, in one of the final episodes of the season (I think, it's been a while since I watched them) we get to see Jordan again, for a mere second or two - confused, just like us. I think he was in the same place the 4400 were when they first arrived, but memory is a tricky thing. IIRC, nothing more is known so far. I should just rewatch them, but I have no time for new series, much less already seen ones. *g*

From: [identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com
But they shouldn't be allowed to do mean cliff-hangers when it's not the season finale *pout* Even if, apparently, it makes the whole show even more interesting *re-pout*

Oh OH! That's very cool, thanks *g*

It works all by itself, you don't have anything to do. It's like, you write your entry in the box thingie - or paste the written entry in the box thingie like I do - as usual. Then, say, you open a new window or the current window crashed and you have to do it all over again. When you'll open the new window to write your entry again, you'll be asked whether to open the saved draft; you say yes and it magically appears *g* Nifty, uh? :-)

Considering the amount of posts that get lost the autosave thing will be a lifesaver. I started to write mine in email after losing too many. Plus, e mail has an english spell check *g*

Also, may I give you a yay for the amount of stories you're producing! So, YAY!!

I write them in an email as well - I lost one entry too many back in the day when I was a newbie, I can't take the pressure lol Having said that, it's still nice to have this because you never know...

God, I swear I can't believe how many stories I've written lately, I'm on a fucking roll. It's almost scary, I mean, I'm so not used to it lol I can't help praying that it's not going to stop anytime soon, I'm having way too much fun right now :-)
