Mar. 14th, 2004 01:31 amJust watched the last three episodes of Buffy. Like the last episodes *ever*.
Why oh whyyyyyyyyyyyyy- what am I going to watch on Saturday nights after Dead Zone now, uh? Where will I get my Andrew weekly fix? And what about the sweetness and hotness that is Kennedy/Willow? I'm missing Anya's bluntness already, and how do they want me to drool at Faith now that she's gone? And... and- I wanna have Buffy back in my TV *wails*
*sniffles*
Those episodes were *so* bloody good. And what is JW's secret, anyway? How can he have me burst into laughter one minute, and bawl like a baby the next? This is beyond me!
Andrew was... Well, Andrew is an enigma to me, now that you mention it. Seeing him get all serious is a sight to behold, and he moved me so much during those very last episodes. More than usual, I mean. I owe him the best laugh of the episode with his Oscar-like speech right before It begins though. Trust the man to do something like this *shakes head* But his scene with Anya? In the hospital? Simply beautiful. He's such a touching character- I can't help it. He's so flawed, and knows it deep inside, but he doesn't give up, after all. And even scared, he faces death with courage and strength. Damn, I fell in love with his character all over again!
You know, I always loved Anya but if I hadn't, I think her scene with Andrew in the hospital would have done it for me *g* And really when she died- I couldn't believe it. It was so fast- I think JW did a good job with her death. It showed really well the reality of what they were doing. In war, you don't get to say goodbye, you don't get to take your time. One second you're alive, the next you're dead- and the fact that we just saw her fall and then just had a glimpse of her corpse was really rough, but just perfect, IMO.
Oh and Robin? You git, don't ever do something like that again! Playing with my heart this way, that was so mean *glare*
About Spike now- well, I already heard here and there that he was in Angel now, so that sorta took the sadness out of his 'death', ya know? Still, it was a beautiful moment. For me, that is. Just gave me goosebumps. I have a thing for people sacrificing themselves for others. It's the most beautiful thing you can do for someone else, after all, right? *g*
I laughed, and yes, I cried as well, but that's me for you. I'm a really sensitive kinda gal, and the emotions during the end of the last episode were just a tad too much for me *g* I don't have any hang up about crying anyway- see, when I find something funny I laugh, and when something is sad or just *so* intense or beautiful, well I cry. It's simple as that. And Buffy knows how to mix all those feelings and wrapped them up in a nice episode- so there.
Damn, I'm going to miss this show *pout* Well, I'll get the DVDs, of course (this is a promise I'm making to myself), but you know what I mean.
PS: Did I mention the pretty hot Kennedy/Willow sex scene btw? Because uh- it was hot and sweet and it was getting warm pretty quickly in my room. I was pretty impressed, to tell the truth. It wasn't just sweet kissing on a couch, if you get my drift *eg* I'm pretty grateful for that scene *nods*

Date: 2004-03-16 02:00 am (UTC)Hmm well, a regular CD would do, I think. I mean, when I get a burnt CD, it's regular CD-R, so... that's the regular data CD with a video file on it, right? It's been *ages* since *I* burnt anything- well, Danny, my CD burner sorta died, so...
And I'll email you for the details, all right. Thaaaaaaaaaaanks again, this is so cool!
