Silly is my world

Not that I'm impatient or anything, but I'd love to read the Jack/Daniel essay that was due yesterday at what sorta became my second home around here, namely ship_manifesto - some things are worth waiting for though, and Jack/Daniel definitely belongs to that category so I'll just wait, but you know what I mean *g*

Speaking of ship_manifesto --as if I did anything else these days-- I'm still enjoying my foray into unfamiliar shows and/or pairings. Today was Jayne/Simon from Firefly. I thought the essay was slightly less passionate somehow than the others but it was interesting enough to make me try some of the fics that were recced, so yeah, another good job done *g*

Firefly is one of those Mysterious Shows to me [I have my Cursed Episodes and my Mysterious Shows - did I mention I like labels?] I hear about it all the time but have never have watched a single episode, and I'm afraid it won't come to France [not on the cable I mean, since I don't have it] anytime soon... though you never know, after all we had John Doe last year and that show had been cancelled as well, so I'm not giving up hope.

Same thing with Farscape - I always have to stop myself from reaching for the box sets when I go to Virgin Megastore, because unlike a lot of people around here, I'm not brave enough to buy a series I never watched *g* I have some issues with spending money I don't really have on something that I could end up not really liking *is a wuss* Even though I succeeded in convincing myself that I would like Farscape anyway - the thing is... me is like Scully Saint Thomas, me needs proof that I will like the show, as in for real and not just in my head lol
