I realise I never use my Ryuchi angry!icon but today is the day when I finally do it because the FT v Cogent business is still going strong, which means still no Photobucket, no YSI yadda yadda yadda. I'm not so far gone that I can't see the bright side of things and just to name one, I'm just so very very thankful it didn't touch livejournal, because you know, there's a line not to cross, but! It still sucks. A Lot. Anyway for the French Posse who's in the same boat that I am? Y a un utilisateur qui aurait trouvé un moyen de contourner le problème. Speaking of which [Ryuchi -> Gravitation -> yaoi -> the yaoi I received yesterday] I can't believe how many yaoi are being released these days! We entered a sort of yaoi golden age, that's the only explanation I can find. It might have taken some time but who cares? We're getting them now. I just finished Passion v2 and I'm now trying to decide what to pick next... Desire or Selfish Love or Skyscrapers Of Oz: 1 (Skyscrapers of Oz) or... you get the picture. So many choices! Did I already mention Amazon was my friend? And then there're also the ones that will be released in a few months [well, more than a few for some of them but comparatively speaking, September or October aren't that far away... you know, compared to a time when we had to wait, like, forever to get something new?] I'm definitely looking forward to buying Jazz by Tamotsu Takamure or Yellow by Makoto Tateno for instance. Speaking of the yaoi-manga site, I quite like their subtitle: The girls only sanctuary. Catchy, isn't it? lol
Changing the subject now. Remember "Sniper Zero"? The Slashiest Numb3rs Episode To Date? Well, you know, I'm not saying that this is the Numb3rs equivalent of, say, SenToo or TSbBS in TS, but I might be thinking it has the potential anyway, because it was good enough to just push you over the edge. There are quite a few fics I was/am hoping to read after that episode andrestless_jedi already wrote one of them, namely Post "Sniper Zero" comfort sex. Bless. Also, not-so-sekrit message to audrarose and sori1773: I might have begun something... for real. We'll see where it leads me, if it even leads me somewhere, anyway. But well, it's a start, ya know?
Finally and because I love those topic jumps, I spent the night reading McKay/Sheppard [I'll resist the McShep mangling as much as I can] last night and twas quite fun. It's not the first time I dabble in SG:A slash but it never lasts, I'll see if it does this time. I'm thinking it might because with the new version of Stargate Friday going on [one ep of SG-1 and one episode of SG:A each Friday] I might get into SG:A more than before. So we'll see...
