Entrée post-mariage
Jul. 3rd, 2006 01:49 pmSo. It's over, my sister is now a married woman. We don't have the same last name anymore, she's a Madame. Hee, it'll take some time to get used to it ;-)
The wedding was absolutely perfect, it was so wonderful, fantastic, beautiful - I don't have the words to tell you how incredible the whole weekend was. My sister was gorgeous beyond words, Henry was too and the whole family was perfect as well. We had so much fun it should be declared illegal maybe. Both Saturday and Sunday were quite magical, I have to say *happy sigh*
Pretty short summary, uh? lol I know, sorry, but that's how it's gonna be for now. Also? I'm just too tired to type it all ;-) I'm knackered, seriously *rubs eyes*
Right now, I think I'm going to take advantage of the house being quiet - on Friday night, when some of my cousins came home, we were twenty-seven in the house; we're now only seven so it's way quieter - to rest a little bit and maybe watch the new DVDs I bought on Thursday. I've only caught glimpses of Odyssey 5 on Friday night - I was too excited/nervous to sleep - so I think I'm going to do a marathon and get better acquainted with that series. Or maybe I'll just crash without meaning to. Who knows?
If I have the courage to tackle the flist, I'll do that too. Hmm, taking that kind of decision is almost too difficult right this minute *feels all foggy and stuff*
Oh hey, Carola is reading one of her HP books for the millionth times, Eliza is watching The Rugrats, Gianluca is chatting on MSN and I'm obviously writing this entry - aren't we a cute little geeky family uh, aren't we? ;-) Too bad Babycakes isn't here anymore because the geek ratio would have been even higher...
Back to Saturday for a sec, the night was doubly fantastic because a) wedding party and b) France beat Brazil YAY! We didn't follow the match, obviously, but some cousins did get the results and it was pretty funny seeing more than a hundred members of the same family, all dolled up in their pretty wedding clothes, cheering and screaming because their team had won a football match lol
PS: We just got the news, my cousin Ludivine got her Bac today, whee! We have a new bachelière in the family ;-)
