So. It's over, my sister is now a married woman. We don't have the same last name anymore, she's a Madame. Hee, it'll take some time to get used to it ;-)

The wedding was absolutely perfect, it was so wonderful, fantastic, beautiful - I don't have the words to tell you how incredible the whole weekend was. My sister was gorgeous beyond words, Henry was too and the whole family was perfect as well. We had so much fun it should be declared illegal maybe. Both Saturday and Sunday were quite magical, I have to say *happy sigh*

Pretty short summary, uh? lol I know, sorry, but that's how it's gonna be for now. Also? I'm just too tired to type it all ;-) I'm knackered, seriously *rubs eyes*

Right now, I think I'm going to take advantage of the house being quiet - on Friday night, when some of my cousins came home, we were twenty-seven in the house; we're now only seven so it's way quieter - to rest a little bit and maybe watch the new DVDs I bought on Thursday. I've only caught glimpses of Odyssey 5 on Friday night - I was too excited/nervous to sleep - so I think I'm going to do a marathon and get better acquainted with that series. Or maybe I'll just crash without meaning to. Who knows?

If I have the courage to tackle the flist, I'll do that too. Hmm, taking that kind of decision is almost too difficult right this minute *feels all foggy and stuff*

Oh hey, Carola is reading one of her HP books for the millionth times, Eliza is watching The Rugrats, Gianluca is chatting on MSN and I'm obviously writing this entry - aren't we a cute little geeky family uh, aren't we? ;-) Too bad Babycakes isn't here anymore because the geek ratio would have been even higher...

Back to Saturday for a sec, the night was doubly fantastic because a) wedding party and b) France beat Brazil YAY! We didn't follow the match, obviously, but some cousins did get the results and it was pretty funny seeing more than a hundred members of the same family, all dolled up in their pretty wedding clothes, cheering and screaming because their team had won a football match lol

PS: We just got the news, my cousin Ludivine got her Bac today, whee! We have a new bachelière in the family ;-)

It was a bit surreal at first, incredibly moving and just - it was one hell of an incredible experience :-)

I totally thought of you when I heard the footie result. Your nation must be thrilled to beat what is supposedly the best team in the world. I was pleased Thierry scored, as I like him. Unfortunately, over here it's all about our loss, so we haven't really heard much about the other teams. Although, the English obviously want the French to beat Portugal for us!

Glad the wedding went beautifully and you had an enjoyable time. And congrats to your cousin. The Bac is the Baccalaureate (sp!) right, the equivalent, I think, to our A-levels? Or am I totally wrong there?

We were - and still are - very happy and proud of our results :-) We'd beat Brazil once in 1998 [ 3 - 0 which was also one hell of a good match for us] and we were SO hoping to beat them once more, to prove that it wasn't 'an accident', know what I mean? And we did, yay! I wish I'd seen the match though, obviously, we had more important things in mind lol

I'm hoping we'll win tomorrow too *fingers crossed* If we do beat Porturgal, consider this a pressie from us in for the English team, all right? ;-)

Thanks, it was a beautiful day - weekend, even *g*

I must admit that I suck with school equivalent but, okay, the Baccalauréat is the first real important exam we take in France. We take it on our last year of high school and without it, you can't access superior studies...

The Bac is the equivalent of A-levels then, as they're taken to get you into University in the UK...

BTW, that French tennis player is called Severine Bremond and she was beaten today by Justine Henin-Hardenne.

Congrats to your sister! That's so exciting. I'm glad you got to experience their big day as well. I sadly missed my brother's wedding because I was in France.

I'm sorry you missed your brother's wedding, it's such a special and beautiful day, you know? But I don't see how you could have gone, so yeah.

And it was just incredible. Also, being Henry's témoin, I had a very special role in the wedding, which made it even more special somehow *g*
