Dublin is love!
Aug. 5th, 2009 05:51 pmHey flist, a little hello from Dublin where I'm having a wonderful time with my friend Sandra. Today's program included a visit to Trinity College and the Book of Kells exhibit - the Book of Kells, heee! Also, omg I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we entered the old library. God, thousands of old books in the most gorgeous library you ever saw. Or one of them, at least. Just gorgeous. We also spent some time at the St Stephen Green park where we sunbathed - it's incredibly sunny and warm since yesterday &hearts - then we went to the National Gallery where I had a nice SPN thought when I was faced with a painting called The Opening of the Sixth Seal, so that was cool. I mean, the whole visit was - not just the SPN thought lol We wandered a lot, had coffee in a cute coffeehouse and I also found two Starbucks, which made me happy.
Tomorrow we're going to Wicklow/Glendalough, we also booked our little tour to the Hills of Tara and on Friday might, we'll go and see a Live Irish Dancing and Singing session and, again, I cannot wait!
So, anyway, Ireland is awesome and we're completely under Dublin's charm. I'm sure Kilkenny and Galway will betwitch us too, I'm impatient to be there :-)
