Oct. 27th, 2009 04:25 pmGeocities closed yesterday? Thanks go to the flist (and a lovely comment re: my TS fics) for the heads up. I'll be honest and say I couldn't care less but I did host my stories there before I got my LJ (and even while I had my LJ - not diligently, far from it, but every now and then I'd remember I had a site and would try to update it. That was, what, till 2007, something like that?) so, you know, once upon a time, geocities was important to my fannish life. So there, a thought for geocities. For when I remembered its existence and everything.
Everyone is raving about White Collar, it's cute to see! I'll download the premiere tonight and add the show to my never-ending list of shows I need to catch up with. Hee omg, the state of my tv-watching is awful atm! But I plan on catching up with SPN this Friday, at least. I have a craving for pommes d'amour (the French name is too cute not to use, but that would be candy apples in English, apparently) so I'll make some and do a little SPN marathon while eating them *nodnod*
Back to White Collar, I see everyone talking about Bryce this and Bryce that but I have to say that Matthew Bomer will always be Jay Burchell from Traveler for me. Oh, Jay.

turps33 after M. showed me a vid of N'Sync - the one for the 2000's VMA? With the tv and head thing. Terri, you'll be proud to know that I could name all the guys. M didn't believe me afterwards when I assured her I was never a fan of the band. Note to self: keep knowledge-by-osmosis to yourself next time!
PS2: Hee omg we did nothing this afternoon! Just fucked around and chilled and watched vids and it's so GOOD! Man, I think we all should have days like that at work, when you basically chill with your colleague!buddies. I'll just need to remind myself that I only have myself to blame for all the work I'll have to do tomorrow.
