(no subject)

I wondered when was the last time I updated and turns out it hasn't been that long. Or I thought it had been much longer. Life has been the same except for Monday night when I took the decision to just stop stressing over my thesis and decided that I'd defend next May. I want to do things Right and I need to have more time to achieve that so I put a stop to the whole thing. I'm giving myself a break for now and I'll go back to it in a couple of weeks. I already have written more than seventy pages so it's not as if I were starting from scratch... I'm afraid it also means you haven't heard the last of me thesis-wise. I do apologise in advance ;-)

All of a sudden I have all this free time - I don't need to write my thesis every day after work anymore! I don't need to write my thesis all day on weekends either! - and guess what? It's glorious!

I'd taken today off early september to work on aforementioned thesis and I decided to keep it so I've been home all day, ie I haven't set foot outside. Since I'm now free I thought having a whole day of No Obligation would be the way to go ♥ I don't think I need to tell you how much I've been enjoying it :-)

Because I feel quite lazy, I'm just going for a little meme for this entry, ie the House meme (as in "home" not "tv show") that is going around. It's one of those memes that never fails to delight the nosy part of me, but in order to feel less guilty about playing "voyeur" with your own entries, I'm playing as well.
