C'était une nuit sombre et orageuse...

I'm chirpy myself because I'm on the eve of a four-day long weekend which, as you can imagine, is pure bliss :) Also, we finally officially got use of our autumn/winter coats recently, scarves and all, which brings me joy. I was in the Netherlands for work last week and it already felt a bit wintery, it was quite sweet for me. I saw that some of you guys even had snow, btw? Admittedly it did snow in some parts of France but it'll be quite some time before we can even start to cross our fingers for snow to fall around Paris. Still, I have high hopes!
Tv has made me happy as well. So I've been low-key enjoying New Amsterdam which isn't a bad thing in and of itself. Nothing low-key about the new season of Daredevil, though. It was even better than I expected. Omg, I had such a blast! DD is one of "my and Cookie's" show in that we always watch it together and we'd decided to make it last by only watching two episodes a night. We succeeded but oh the challenge! It was really difficult to stop whenever we reached the end of the 2nd episode because we were so into it! So that was definitely a great watching experience :)
Quite unexpected now, was my watching The Haunting of Hill House. I say "unexpected" because I usually stay away from horror movies, I get scared too easily. But I also do love a good ghost stories, so sometimes I'll challenge myself and try to be brave ;) It won't stop me from jumping at every turn, maybe even yelp a couple of times and most probably watch some scenes through my fingers (did I mention I get scared easily?) but it also brings the experience to new highs, so lol I watched it on my own and Cookie could hear me yelp and jump and she was like "what the hell are you watching?!"
So, yes, HHH did freak me out but I loved it! The storytelling is really good, the characters very touching and I can't wait to see where it all ends (I haven't finished the season yet, so no spoilers in case you want to talk about it, I have three episodes left).
What else? Ah yes, this weekend, I plan on watching Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. I wanted to either start it or finish HHH tonight (after all, what better date than today for that type of show) but a childhood friend is visiting and we're going out tonight. Maybe if I don't come home too late. I'll see ;)
