Feb. 24th, 2020 03:47 pmDo any of you know of some remedy against complete lack of work!motivation? Because that would be quite useful. I'm having the hardest time at work these days and I don't understand why (which is even more frustrating, somehow. If I had a reason, it would be easier to deal with the issue, I think). I can't seem to be able to muster any kind of energy at work and if I could, I'd just send a note to my boss and tell him "Sorry, B. I don't feel like coming today. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. Fingers crossed ;)" which, sadly, isn't the kind of whim one can't follow through.
I can't even complain as I actually had two days off work last week. Except, as enjoyable and needed said break was, it still didn't succeed in making the problem disappear. Oh, well, it'll get better eventually?
At least, things outside of work are still exciting and enjoyable :) Prodigal Son is having another hiatus which certainly didn't make me happy but turns out the show is (finally) premiering in France and since I've been selling the show pretty hard to my parents, we're planning on watching it with them at their place each week. Let's hope the French dubbing is to my liking, otherwise it's going to be hell for my ears! We do have the option to watch the show in English but my dad isn't keen on subtitles so just like with Lethal Weapon or Lucifer before it, we'll watch PS in French when we watch it together. Wish me luck ;) I still have to watch the last two episodes of Endeavour but if I make it last, it means it's not over, right? I can't believe series 7 is already over, seriously. Obviously each episode lasts much longer than a regular episode but bidding it goodbye only three weeks after it came back (when you've been waiting for a whole year or so) is a bit rough. I'm now an episode behind ST:Picard but I should remedy that tonight.
Tonight's program is a pretty lovely one, now that I think of it: we're going to treat ourselves with an early Shrove Tuesday (I always come back pretty late on Tuesdays because of my German class so we decided it would be more practical to do it tonight instead) so tonight sounds like a Chill and Netflix kind of evenings, except in this particular case it'll be Crêpes and Amazon. Can't wait to head back home!
