Title rambling and downloads

Just realised that we're the 22nd! Joyeux Anniversaire to
whitevanilla. Hope you'll have a fantastic day! Also hope you're really feeling better by now *hugs*
I have the title for my fic! I'm so cool [/self-congrats] Can you imagine how fucking difficult it is to actually find a theory/theorem/whatever when all you have is a vague definition that you made up based on some ideas you had in your slash story? So the hypothetical search would have been the following "brothers+lovers+mutually exclusive". At one point I even had a flashback of my physics classes back in high school --or was that junior high school-- with the whole Pauli exclusion principle thing... because it had cool cool stuff like identical fermions being unable to occupy the same quantum space and I was like okay if I twist it and turn it, it could maybe work, only no, it couldn't and anyway I wanted maths not physics, though wait, they did mention quantum physics in "Uncertainty Principle" so why couldn't I do it too, right? Except it still didn't work anyway and holy shit but why couldn't I just call my story the Don Fucked Charlie story and be done with it!
Also Mathematicians? Really don't speak like normal people. They speak mathematicianese only! So I'm browsing sites where I'm hoping to find some nice definitions of whatever principle I might fancy trying, read definitions I'll be able to understand and instead of using, you know, words they use shit like :
- and I'm like, why, now that makes total sense, thank you so much. Btw? I hate you. Oh and this is the Schrödinger equation in case you're wondering. Next time someone says you don't learn anything useful in my LJ, please be so kind as to direct them to this post. Except useful? Might be too strong a word for that kind of stuff, but whatever.
Anyway, since I'm on the subject of Numb3rs fic, I'm pretty happy to rec a new one here, written by none other than
audrarose, namely The Arms of the Galaxy which is a beautiful story with a wonderful characterisation. I absolutely love it. Go on, click!
Changing the subject now [aren't you glad?] I'm uploading Japanese songs for
babycakesin and I uploaded a first batch at YSI yesterday [and it felt so good being able to play with the site again, yay!] - since I'd hate for them to go to waste, I'm sharing them here too.
Batch of Sakamoto Maaya's songs: charming voice, beautiful and sometimes haunting tunes. If you're familiar with anime, you might recognise some of those.
Sakamoto Maaya - Midori no Hane
Sakamoto Maaya - Hashiru
Sakamoto Maaya - Aoi Hitomi
Sakamoto Maaya - Hemisphere
Sakamoto Maaya - Hikari no Naka
Sakamoto Maaya - Kaze Ga Fuku Hi
And since I was there, I also uploaded two French songs from the band Indochine. They started their career in 1981 [they were in their twenties at the time] but they're still alive and kicking. First song is from 1983. Second is from 2001. Different songs, different styles but I like them both *g*
Indochine - L'Aventurier
Indochine - J'ai demandé à la lune
