Dude! Today was insane! Felt like we were never still and never in just one place, from early morning to now - the heat made the whole thing even more tiring. But mucho things were accomplished so yay! And I even had a nice reward when I came back this evening cause eeek! My Quantum Leap S1 boxset + my Bring It On DVD were there! Oh the joy! Just had time to watch an episode of QL so far but omg that was so wonderful! Sam! Al! Quantum Leap! *loves some more* I really like their voices and Sam's laugh is the cutest thing ever. Oh and so Al does call him "kid" for real, then? Or at least he did in the episode I watched ["The Right Hand of God" - I know, I didn't start with the pilot, so sue me. I know them all anyway *g*] Tonight I think I'll OD on QL goodness *beams*

We sometimes talk about those shows we love so much because of the incredible character dynamic, the deep and solid friendship we see between the lead characters, and seriously when we do, QL shouldn't ever be forgotten because Sam and Al's friendship? Is a thing of beauty, really. And I love how Al isn't afraid of mentioning it over and over again. It just makes me feel all tingly inside each time I hear him talk about the friendship he shares with Sam and how tight they were before Sam leapt for the first time *happy sigh* Well, they're still tight, but you know what I mean.

Speaking of Numb3rs [incredible character dynamic -> Don and Charlie and Alan... -> Numb3rs], audrarose did it again! She wrote a new Don-Charlie piece which - as usual - is a Thing of Beauty. She almost had the audacity to, I don't know, apologise for the lack of smut of her Numb3rs fics but seriously with stories like Beliefs, who needs smut?

And since this entry goes all over the place, I'm going to follow the trend and squee a little over the fact that Lost premieres in France next week! *bounces* Lost: Les Disparus airs on the 25th - we'll get three episodes, no less. And it's just so funny seeing the new titles and all: "Le Réveil" [1x01 & 1x02] and "Le Nouveau Départ" [1x03, obviously]. Next Saturday should be fun: Pride in Paris + Lost afterwards *bounces again* And TF1 is doing some nice advertising too - shiny articles and stuff.

re: tv remote: bah, it's okay... if they didn't, I wouldn't be watching Dancing with the Stars and so on - plus, the series are almost over (ER, etc...) And they're really great flatmates, so it's just a minor default - I'm sure my messiness bugs them.

I adored Quantum Leap but I have to admit that I would probably find it a bit odd at first to watch it again as I have grown used to Scott Bakula being Captain Archer now ^_^!

I can't wait to see what you think of the French voice actors they choose for Lost...

Hey you're right, that would be odd. I saw that they released the DVD for ST: Enterprise not long ago - despite the fact that the show only ever aired on cable - and I'm curious about it but no way am I going to buy the thing, you know?

I'm so impatient about the French voices, it's scary lol
