Apr. 11th, 2004 08:54 pmWhat a lovely day we had *g* We went to my grand-father's for Easter lunch and had a great time with the whole family- as usual. My cousins were hyper all day, *more* hyper I mean- don't know what was in their food, or if their drinks had been spiked (sp) or something! lol There was lot of yummy food, and much craziness, lots of laughs, a football (soccer) game between us all, and a shoe that landed on the neighbor's roof... anyway, much fun was had *g* My grand-dad spent most of the day sitting in his armchair, more or less sleeping, but he was happy to have us all home, so that's the only thing that counts *g*
Also, we got chocolate and... money, always such a wonderful surprise *g*- woohoo! Each of us got a Giant Kinder, and an 'personalized' chocolate. Like, I had a chocolate!Caliméro. I have no idea whether you know who he is. Caliméro was the main character of a cartoon we used to watch when were kids. It's like a classic. Caliméro became an expression for some people *g*
That's him :

I'm afraid most of the kinder has already been, ya know, eaten, but Caliméro is still whole. Want to keep staring at him a bit more, because he's so pretty *g* Love me some chocolate.
And know what? Since I had a bit of money, I'm *this* close to get myself a Plot Bunny Plush Toy, I swear! The BDSM and the Angst ones are calling to me. I soooooo want them- or one of them at least. I know it's a bad idea right now, so I don't think I will, but I wish I could because am really in love with them *sigh*
Anyway, hope you all had a great day- no matter if you celebrate Easter or not, of course *g*

Date: 2004-04-11 03:13 pm (UTC)I really loved the book myself. Not as much as Wuthering Heights though, but I loved it. And I know, Emily wrote the latter, not Charlotte, but you know what I mean *g* I was a tad surprised when I got so engrossed in those books because usually I'm not really into classics *shrug* I make some exceptions here and there, of course, and they definitely belong to that category.

Date: 2004-04-11 03:15 pm (UTC)I really love some classics, like A Tale of Two Cities, but I can't stomach some other like, say, Frankenstein. Odd, nu?
