Eeeep guys! Guess who's snuggled up in her bed with Charlie over her lap watching Stargate SG-1 in the background and updating her journal? Yes, me! Incidentally, who won't ever ever get tired of the funny and kinky ring to the whole "Charlie over her lap" thing? Yes, me again. Man, it makes me laugh each time I think of writing it *laughs* Case in point.

Charlie is on-line! I'm surfing from my bed! Will wonders ever cease? *beams* I might have lost most of my house for the next week but I haven't lost it all *clings to Charlie* It's all thanks to Clark, of course *is proud of him*

But anyway, I had something important to talk about. I mean, my being on-line from my bed is damn important, but you know what I mean.

So. A propos du Rassemblement Slash, de notre Fierté Slasheuse - enfin de notre Mini-Convention Slash A Nous, quoi *g* On va dire qu'on arrête le dernier week-end d'août? Le 28 août [dimanche] semble convenir à la majorité, donc on se lance sur cette date là?

Par contre maintenant, va falloir organiser le programme. L'idée d'un pique-nique avait été avancée, mais vu le temps dans nos contrées, ça me semble plutôt suicidaire. Donc quelqu'un aurait une idée? Jusqu'à présent mes rencontres "slash" ont été faites dans des cafés mais ça, ça va bien quand on est deux ou trois - plus et c'est du genre impossible. Donc vous pouvez commencer à remplir la boite à idée - enfin mon LJ en l'occurrence.

En plus, certaines viennent pour le week-end? Donc vous aviez peut-être une idée précise de ce que vous vouliez faire? Enfin bref, en résumé, si on considère que la date est arrêtée, il va falloir trouver ce qu'on fait maintenant. Ca va être simple, encore, j'le sens bien lol Mais bon, c'est pour la bonne cause...

Changing the subject, I caved in and asked for my Mind Map, which I received today. I'm not pasting the code here because it broke my page when I did at first, so I'll just make a shiny link. It also seems that everything I believed re:mind map was wrong. I thought the Big Fonts were people who commented a lot, but obviously it's not. I'm saying obviously because - just to name her - my Babycakes is a Small Font, which is so very outrageous, so yeah, it totally proves my theory wrong. So maybe Big Fonts are people I share the most users with? No seriously, I don't know at this point. I guess I could, you know, study it or something - it's not as if being that kind of dork would stop me - but see, I have Things To Do, like catching up with lots of RPS - I'm in a lotrips mood these days and I have yummy Dave slash waiting for me.

What is this Mind Map thing anyway? And besides the different font sizes, why do some of the names have brackets around them while others don't?

As for your little August get-together, if you must write about it in French (and the fact that it's only French-speakers who are involved in the planning and who will be attending seems no reason at all in my view, lol), then please take pity on me and write in nice simple language like you did in this post. If you write like morgared does a lot of the time, I'll have to just throw up my hands and go off to read someone else's lj.

What is this Mind Map thing anyway?

Seriously? I have no idea! I mean, I know there's an explanation, it has to take a lot of things into account when it creates the mind map, but what exactly? I don't know. The comments thing doesn't seem to work... so maybe similar interests? Or users in common? There was another mind map with coloured links linking people between each other - to show the friends of friends, maybe, but it wasn't free so I didn't pick that one.

I promise to keep up with the simple French *bows* Wouldn't want to lose you ;-)

Et en fait je suis pas trop sure combien on sera. Si on considère l'une de mes entrées sur le sujet, et au vu des réponses que j'ai eues, je dirais cinq ou six de mon côté... et peut-être autant de celui de Catia. J'en reparlerais, promis *g*

Surfing or watching videos on your bed with a laptop on your lap is teh best !

Pour la Fierté Slasheuse (OUI à la slash pride !), on peut toujours prévoir 2 solutions, une outdoor et une indoor, et voir selon le temps.
On peut imaginer un pique nique, soit dans le parc de Bercy qui est joli et fleuri, soit dans le parc de Vincennes, boisé et spacieux (ou tout autre parc), et se rabattre sur un café pas bruyant, genre le Paradis du Fruit des Halles (non fumeur en plus) et s'y goinfrer de tartes aux fruits et cocktails... :D
Ça dépendra aussi du nombre qu'on sera...

J'aime bien ton idée. Le Paradis du Fruit me plait bien, c'est relax et tout... moi j'aurais vraiment adoré qu'on aille au Starbucks mais là c'est impossible. Déjà qu'on a parfois du mal à trouver deux place libres... mais dans le genre cozy on pouvait pas rêver mieux *g* Enfin, ça sera pour les mini-mini-mini réunions slash lol

Ah, le Starbuck aurait été pas mal, c'est sûr --et ça n'a rien à voir avec mon amour pour Galactica *g*-- mais c'est vrai que c'est souvent blindé, et les fauteuils confortables sont pris d'assaut.

Je propose le Paradis du Fruit parce que je ne connais pas grand chose d'autre malheureusement (quelle mauvaise Parisienne je fais :p ) mais si quelqu'un a une autre idée, je suis ouverte à tout. :)

Babycakes is near but small font, you're far, and it's the same for lot of those on my flist I see as "friends" and with whom I chat a lot around here, so really, I have no idea how the thing works - one more mystery, I suppose lol
