Is everyone falling sick these days? Cause it was my turn last night. Am still not feeling up to par today - just feverish though and since I'm up and updating, it's not as if I was on the verge of death or anything - so I decided to skip school and Everything Else today in order to just snuggle up in bed and relax and sleep. I needed a break, anyway, well I just gave it to myself *congratulates self*

My Supernatural download is at 44% so you can imagine what I'll watch later :-) I think I'll also watch some anime - between what [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai and [livejournal.com profile] katikat both sent me, I don't even know where to start *g* So today's plan is playing with Charlie - am talking about my laptop, here - and watch Stuff and rest. Is there anything better? Don't think so.

Unrelated now. I love how sometimes people from your flist have the best timing ever. So I've been in an Oz mood these days and, when I checked my flist this morning, I had the pleasure of finding boykissing picspam of the Beecher/Keller persuasion over at [livejournal.com profile] fangirl1981's LJ. That was sweet :-)

I've also been in a Firefly mood and I just realised today is the 12th, which means that Serenity comes out next week, yay! Which also means btw, there might be some more squeeing of the Serenity persuasion - just a friendly warning. Anyway, French Posse? We'll have to decide a date and everything, alright? Also, can I already vote for Ciné Cité Bercy... and not the 21st for it's my dad's birthday ;-)

Finally, if you're into Dead Zone and missed [livejournal.com profile] shaenie 's Little Thefts fic, do yourself a favour - yes, again - and go and read it. That story is one hell of a wonderful ride - intense and powerful and so Johnny and Walt that you'll want to cry. Only in a very good way. Anyway, I'm completely smitten *loves*

And since we're talking DZ, hope you heard about the Dead Zone Picture Challenge [livejournal.com profile] versaphile is doing? Because missing something like that - well, that would be sad, alright *nods*

PS: Out of curiosity... I didn't see a single post talking about raising money to help those affected by the earthquake in South Asia. Did I miss those posts or is it just not happening?

I agree! What the hell? Thousands of people just died and it seems like no one cares...

I feel awful about that.

The silence kinda surprised me. I mean, I know lot of people don't wait on those communities to actually do something and many of us do what they can - give money or food or time or whatever - and just keep silent about it, because why do you feel the need to tell the whole world what you did, but at the same time, those posts do help and they do work - so why is it not happening just now? Is it that the media coverage isn't exactly forthcoming? Considering where it's happening? And this time, it's not as if lots of tourists were involved... so I don't know, I'm just curious, I guess.

I haven't seen any either. In the TS fandom at least, I suspect the Katrina auction on top of the Moonridge auction has exhausted people. There's only so many stories and collectibles to go around.

But you've reminded me that I have to get off my butt and send in my donation. The death toll and misery there is just heartbreaking.

When they talk about the death toll, it sounds surreal - I always have trouble grasping the concept of so many death. Also, they were talking about a whole "lost generation" - that's how many children they lost. Just - yeah, heartbreaking doesn't begin to cover it.

Im not a DZ fan - I never watched the show and I have no idea who the characters are. But for some reason, I decided to give this fic a read. Insane, I know, considering I dont even know what these guys LOOK like. WOW - I didnt need to know - I didnt need to have a clue about the show cos the fic told me everything I could have wanted. What an amazingly talented writer.

I haven't seen any on my flist.

About Serenity, I'm not free on the 20th, but the rest of the time is ok.
Je suis allée dîner à l'Hippopotamus et ils avaient un poster géant de Serenity! J'ai complètement oublié de leur demander ce qu'ils en feraient et si je pouvais le récupérer. :(

So we rule out the 21st and the 20th *takes notes*

D'un seul coup j'ai comme une envie d'aller manger à l'Hippopotamus, je sais pas pourquoi!

J'ai complètement oublié de leur demander ce qu'ils en feraient et si je pouvais le récupérer.

Trop bête *pets*

You know, I was kinda wondering the same thing. It's like, it didn't happen in the west so no one cares. It's really sorta frustrating.

I think I'll also watch some anime

Does that mean that you got Advent Children already? That was quick! I hope you enjoy it more with subtitles ^_~!

I can't wait to see Serenity too, I really hope it starts in our little cinema this Friday *looks hopeful*!

And I hope you are feeling better *hugs gently*!

When I wrote that entry, it wasn't in my possession yet but I received it today - mailed you a couple minutes ago, actually ;-)

I'm quite impatient to finally see the movie - after that, I'll finally be able to click on all those spoiler cuts *bounces*

This isn't a good week, I think - thanks for the hugs *hugs back*
