It's funny, watching the movie nowadays I see the crappiness, but at the same time I can still see the same elements that frightened me as a kid. Mostly I think it was the clown stuff, especially how someone like that could engender trust and when you're reaching down into a drain to get a pretty bauble he bares his bloody teeth and eats you up.
....i don't like clowns. they scare me. the end. ;)
