Coding from Hell, Wat and TS moments

Dear Lord! I spent the whole evening revamping my home page- I mean, the home page of my site, thank you very much- and I don't see straight anymore *cross-eyed*

Inspiration struck me on my way back home (went back to the uni today *pout*) and I thought I'd found what I was looking for, but after messing around with codes for hours, I realized it wasn't what I wanted, and even worse, the changes weren't that... astonishing lol

What took so long was to find the right combination of color, typical *sigh* It's annoying when you're working on a thing for hours, and in the end... it doesn't look so much different. Cruel cruel world lol

I didn't make the change yet, because I want to let it rest a bit. I'll see tomorrow what I think of the new home page.

I think as a reward after so much work, I'm going to treat myself with some Wat slash tonight. Usually I like to know the show, the characters- I need/like to have a connection with them, but what can I say, I succumbed to the fandom even though I never watched a single episode of Without a Trace- Yet *g*

I blame angellemyst and circeoflatium for that. It makes for a nice change- usually I'm the one being blamed for other people's new addictions, but this time it's my turn to do the blaming *eg* They kept talking about the show and Martin and Danny and Danny/Martin, and without my noticing, I started to get interested, and I tried some fics- and yesterday I surprised myself adding wat_slash to my flist.

So there. Tonight is Danny/Martin Night *nods*

Finally, know what? I'm having some weird TS moments right now. I've got Frequency in the background- Dennis Quaid is dubbed by the same actor who dubs Jim in TS, and Quaid's character keeps calling his son Grand Chef, our French version of Chief. I keep being distracted each time he does! lol

Gotta love Danny and Martin!!!!! I started reading fics about them before watching the series...simply because I didn't have the possibilitly at getting the episodes. Now...things have changed....I have a wonderful friend who sends me the episodes, so that I can drool over both *gg*...and...the first season also ran in Germany from September till February.

I joined the fandom because of Martin (Eric Close) knowing him from other fandoms like Magnificent Seven, Dark Skies and Now and Again...the guy is sooo adorable! I only needed a few eps to love Danny as well! *smile*

I don't know whether they're going to air the show here atm, but I can see it- this kind of show is really well liked and I wouldn't be surprised if it arrived in Autumn or something like this. I'm crossing my fingers- definitely *g*

I really like Eric Close too. I know him from the McKenna series- that was the very first time I saw the guy, then from Dark Skies and Once and Again too. Unfortunately, Mag7 never aired here *pout*

I already know he's going to be my favourite character in the show, and I'm fairly curious to see Danny 'in action' *g*

I have heard a lot about McKenna, but I don't think that it ever aired in Germany. *pout* ... I adore Eric's blue, blue eyes and that great lop-sided smile he has.

You will love the Martin-Danny scenes for they are a little like cat and dog at first, but they grow accustomed to each other and are perfect partners! *smile*

I remember this show (McKenna) with fond memory, because it was broadcast during a holiday and my sister and I watched it every morning together *g*

I think the show only has one season, and around- I don't know maybe 12ish episodes? But I love those angsty family shows where the characters try to overcome their demons and everything- I loved the relationship between Brick (Eric Close) and his father. Both trying to find the father/son bond they'd lost years before...

Anyway, can't say it was like the best show, but I sure liked it. It's been around 10 years though, so who knows what I would think of it now *g*

Can't wait to watch Wat live- believe me! *bounces again*
