Early Post.

castalieSo did we get the pains au chocolat as promised yesterday? Yes we did! Awesome Guy brought them up - we actually cheered when he came in the room. They were delicious. AG was delicious too, incidentally lol He stayed for a couple of minutes to chat with us and then left us to go to class. He told us he'd come back, we'll see :-)
Changing the subject; I was expecting a flist full of Heroes squeeing yesterday and only got one entry about it *pout* Twas odd. Guess I can't not post my own lil' overview, now, uh? Yes, I'm putting the blame on others, it's always more fun :-)
So. I watched Heroes 1x02 and PETER! So you can fly too! That was a little twist I hadn't seen coming. Being a creature of contradiction I was almost disappointed when he levitated because since the pilot and the revelation that Nathan was the one who could fly, I'd caressed the thought of Peter being, in fact, an empath. And, in the end, he's like his brother - or his brother is like him, whatever. It's weird seeing two characters having the exact same power though since they're brothers, it's not as if it rang wrong. Still, I'll be waiting to see whether there's not more to the whole thing than meets the eyes :-) And I'm hoping they'll go back to the empathy, anyway.
Also how sweet was the scene when Peter realised he did fly too and fell into his brothers' arms - he was hugging him so tight and, like, nuzzling his face and it was the sweetest thing. Except for Nathan's look which was pretty cold. Those two are going to become another great and interesting Sibling Unit!
Niki's situation is getting scarier and scarier by the minute. Man, I'd be so freaked out in her place!
Mohinder is as gorgeous as ever and I squeed when he found out about the program his father had worked on. Between you and me, I cannot wait for the characters to be all together - or as together as they can be, ie that they start to gather around a central point. Which, okay, has already started what with the connections some of them have and the impromptu meetings some others had but I'm impatient to get more.
Speaking of which, argh! I really thought they'd killed Isaac and I felt so sorry for the guy because, dude, he really wasn't getting any break, was he? But they were just messing with our heads and now ohhh HIRO! Things aren't so funny and cute for you, uh? So you're now aware of what will come - talk about a burden!
Incidentally, Hiro is still the cutest character ever! Which is also why the ending was so good - nice contrast from all the fun he was having before. Btw, I loved the little Isaac-is-writing-Hiro's-adventures touch.
No wait, back to Mohinder - I'm paranoid about the girl that so conveniently came to his rescue and claimed to be a friend of his father's... don't want to be mean or anything but Heroes seems like the kind of series that would try to lull you into a false sense of safety, here a cute and innocent looking young woman, before stabbing you in the back. So I'll try not to be too paranoid but, at the same time, I think I'll keep being suspicious until we have proof she's not a plant... Sorry Rescue Girl. Also, sorry for forgetting your name already *cough*
And this doesn't have anything to do with the rest either but, okay, am I the only SPN fan who has not read those spoilers for 2xYouKnowWhichOne? I can't be the only one who's desperately not clicking on those gazillion cuts, right? It's not even the cuts themselves that are driving me crazy but the comments that go with it. Dude, is tonight's episode 2xYKWO? Please? Cause I need to know and my bloody spoiler-free policy is ruining my life!

Except I forgot to mention how drool-worthy Mohinder and Isaac are - mind you, I thought it went without saying, but it never hurts to let the flist know, who knows what pics and links they might come up with? And now for Heroes.
Peter. OK, is his power flying? I mean, just flying. Because that little pic he was working on when he was in the hospital bed shows exactly how he's going to "walk on air" with his brother watching. And he dreamt of the jumping of the roof scene for long before it happened. So. Just flying, or some form of precognition as well?
And Peter and Nathan, another brother unit with all kinds of issues. Yay!
Hiro is the cutest character ever and now he has a lot of angsting potential, too, so yay for that.
Mohinder is gorgeous and I am tres suspicious of the "conveniently there and totally cool with using a gun and notices the gun holster right away" chick, too. Though she is very pretty. ;)
