moimoietmoi and greedy_dancer and oh my, the film was brilliant! I'd love to see it again, and I caved in and ordered the novel sooner than planned. Can't wait to receive it! Then we went to Starbucks, as we're wont to to. All in all, a great day was had :-)
Then today I did some work, lazed around and watched Numb3rs which I quite enjoyed. All thanks to Charlie and his gazillion adorable and cute expressions. The guy was in top form in that episode - man, he had the sweetest expressions ever! I had to rewind several of his scenes several times in a row because I couldn't get enough of him. My favourite might be when Charlie goes all five-years-old on us with his 'I won't do it' arm gesture ♥ ♥ Though Charlie you disappoint me - so you're standing up to Millie-Mildred and then she does that little James Bond comparison and you cave in? Dude! You're too easy. You shouldn't have given up, man! But I do love your look throughout the conversation prior to the 007 thing and I just love how you were expecting her to apologise... not just that but calling her on it.
Actually I could try and pinpoint all the expressions you offered me in that episode but I'd need to write a whole essay about it. Just know that you killed me during the episode and I just adore you for it *hugs*
I sure wish I'd seen more of you and Don together though... not enough family times, by far, but it has to happen sometimes, I guess. It's okay, I forgive you Numb3rs - just try to remember to give me those scenesnext time, all right? Kthxbai.
So new character, uh? I have no idea whether I like Millie-Mildred or not. I think I kinda do... except she's excessively annoying in the way she interacts with the characters. I mean, on the one hand, a lot of her points were valid, I guess, on the other, the way she made them was quite irritating - OTT, too.
And wow Alan and her sure aren't wasting time! Don't have anything to say about it except that it did bring me another great scene with Charlie trying to assimilate the concept of his dad going out with his boss and yeah another great moment it was! Same thing with the very beginning when Daddy!Eppes meet Millie-Mildred for the first time - dude, did I say I adored Charlie in that episode? Yeah okay so I always do, I meant even more than usual!
Okay. Now I need to be brave and shit - this is the part that I'm sure is going to bring me the ire of, like, all of the flist? But man I loved the Amita/Charlie at the end *runs and hides behind chair* *takes a peek* *sits back on the chair cautiously* Okay no seriously - I've been ambivalent and so-not-a-fan of that ship for the longest time but my main complain is that they just didn't act like a couple and I wasn't sure they even wanted to be one. So seeing Charlie take that step and Amita definitely getting into the kiss... well they were finally acting like a couple, like two people who want each other, you know? And so it worked. The making-out-on-the-couch also worked. A lot. And it doesn't hurt that I thought Amita looked gorgeous in that outfit. So okay I'm still not sold on that ship and if it sinks tomorrow - not that I 100% think it ever really left the port but you know what I mean - I'm not gonna cry but at least this time they were able to sell it to me.But why yes in my mind it's Don who was making out with Charlie on the couch.
And since I mentioned Charlie's expressions - here are five caps of some of those:

PS: Oh yeah and I forgot, thanks to the lovelysockich I'm now in possession of Dead Like Me and so I watched the first three episodes and that show rocks/rocked! I'm going to enjoy watching the whole thing :-)
