I've just watched Heroes 1x10; one day that show will KILL me by the sheer awesomeness of it, I just know it.
Okay first, I'm not sure whether I've already mentioned it or not but I adore the way they write the titles of the episodes on the screen. It absolutely rocks.
Then, the important stuff *g*
You know, each time I see a new episode I think that even though I adore Peter, he might have to share that First Place in my heart with a lot of the other characters... I mean, I adore Hiro, I love Mohinder like crazy, I'm a bit in love with Claire, I'm quite fascinated with Niki-ikiN, Matt rocks, Bennett is absolutely brilliant and Nathan is all kinds of awesome too etc etc... But episodes like this one? Confirm that Peter is #1, period. So Hiro definitely is #1' but Peter is at the top of the list and I'm completely smitten with his character and I just never want him to leave omg *clings*
I also think one of the - many, many - things I adore with Peter is Nathan. That is, his relationship with his brother and, yeah, Nathan's relationship with him. Because, God! We finally have brothers that touch each other all the time! I think after "Six Months Ago", the Petrellis must have won the awards of the Most Tactile Brothers In the History of Ever. Oh man those scenes between the two of them? KILLED ME! The touching! And the comforting and the talking and the intimacy - they have such an interesting and compelling sibling relationship that I just can't get enough of it! ♥ ♥ I mean, I already enjoyed the Petrellis before but after that ep? Oh, my love for them knows no bounds! *builds a little altar to the glory of the Petrelli brothers*
So Peter and Nathan were killing me softly and then Hiro finished the job. Oh, Hiro! You broke my heart. And you didn't fail, man, you so didn't! It's just that sometimes you can't win, is all. One of those lessons every single hero has to learn one day. I just wish it'd gone differently. Poor Charlie! Poor Hiro. Though it made me smile too because Charlie is Alexa! Which is not funny as such - considering their fates - but still is for different reasons. Anyway, those two broke my heart *bites lower lip* Speaking of the touching earlier, Hiro and Ando are also adorable together. They're such good friends *loves them too*
And there's all the other stuff. Eden and Matt met! I just fucking adore how this works every time; how they're all connected before they actually meet for real. And ikiN is Nicole's sister! Dude, I hadn't seen that one coming. So Creepy Alter Ego does have a name of her own and she was Niki's sister. Lovely twist, that one. Claire and the whole cheerleader thing. Which, btw, the whole popular v unpopular, cheerleader and jocks v the freaks? Is so American; it makes me smile every time. More so in "Homecoming" where it was all over the place...
No Isaac or Mohinder though we had Daddy Suresh and that was nice all the same. Nothing surprising per se but it's always nice seeing a Big Villain in the making. So we finally met Sylar, uh? Between you and me, he didn't exactly look like a Sean Bean but what do I know? :-) Anyway, I loved the little touch - how unassuming he was, seeing him in his little shop and knowing what he'll become was quite thrilling *g*
And now we're back to last week's episode and I CANNOT WAIT! Also, I love the fact that episode ten of Heroes was basically the kind of episode that would be a pilot in most shows. Starting at almost the middle of the road and then telling the story of the very beginning is awesome *g*
I couldn't resist and had to watch the promo for next week and it gave me goosebumps and all! It also made me want to cry because argh! No new episode til the new year after 1x11? *wails* But before those spoilers, two little caps - that way it'll make a nice separation of brother goodness :-)

Aren't they best the best?

No, I'm asking!
Okay so the promo, so it starts with the great "they'll come together" which YAY \o/ and there's those slow-mo scenes and that heartbeat sound thingie and then... and then The Voice tells us about how "a hero will be lost" and OHMYGOD what does that mean? A hero? Will be lost? Lost how? Lost where? Lost what? *flails*
Promos are the most evil of things; even though you know they only exist to mess with your heads, you can't help but worry and imagine the worst case scenario - being rational doesn't always work with promo, that's the sad truth. There's so many interpretations of the 'lost' thing... the thing is, they're not all of the nice so - well, I just have one question: IS IT MONDAY YET?
Oh RL wise, they've lit the decorations in Choisy! So I'm thinking it might have been a test more than anything because they weren't all working and they usually are, but pretty and shiny Christmas lights were on when I got home *loves*
