Still no work to be done. Well, we had, like, fifteen students so far? And around, what, ten files? That's it. F-Girl is surfing e-bay, M-Boy is eating a chausson au pomme, D-Girl is playing with radioblog, even Boss Lady is watching video on a cha-cha competition thingie. As for myself, well, I'm obviously writing this entry. Yay, Compta Team \o/

Oh! I meant to tell you. The other day we had an officer come in to do the registration for his son and he was in full uniform and we might have looked at him quite intensely. He also might have noticed because when he left he winked at us lol We couldn't help it, though. Uniform kink and all that, right? And just five minutes ago, we had a priest. In full priest uniform, too, as they're wont to do, and I'm afraid I had some SPN uniform!kink badwrong thoughts *cough* Forgive me, Father, all right?

So! Onto other things now, namely the wonder that is Dexter. Oh, Dexter! I have SO MUCH LOVE for you that just thinking about you makes me high *dreamy sigh*

Okay, each new episode is better than the other, and each episode is Oh So Great to begin with so, really, how do they do it? Not that I'm complaining but this is really a mystery. [livejournal.com profile] azhureheart called Dexter a magical show where there was no bad episode and I really have to second that *happy sigh*

So. "Seeing Red". Seeing Dex in distress has been one of my favourite hobbies since the first episode. But this time, they outdid themselves ♥ ♥ Oh man his reaction when he saw the room? To die for. And just everything that had to do with his repressed memories - also awww little!Dex broke my heart! His screams, his bloody hands and face, and the "close your eyes Dexter, close your eyes", oh man!

And then we had the wonderful scene where Ken realises he made a mistake and that things didn't go as planned. I almost felt bad for him when he found out his present had totally not worked. I mean, dude, it totally deflated him - in more ways than one *cough* - when he realised he'd distressed his boyfriend brother? Barbie. Aww, sorry Ken, maybe next time?

I loved how he then went and had his very first official date with Dex. Last week was grand but they were with their respective girlfriends, this time it was just the two of them. How cute!

I still love the fact that when Dex is with Rudy, we really get to see how different he is - Rudy always acts so normal. If not for his so-intense-its-freaky stares directed at Dex, he really could pass for 100% 'normal'. Whereas it's a bit different with Dex. Which pleases me to no end.

In conclusion, I just can't get enough of those two together. I wish they could live happily and murderingly for ever and ever after *sigh*

Deb made me feel a bit sorry for her too. She wants Dexter to reach out to her and she never gets it and I do understand where she's coming from, though I don't think she has a right to demand anything. I mean... no, maybe she has but the whole "I've earned it" thing was a bit too much. I'm not sure I agree with that. Still, she's hurting and she was upset at her boyfriend taking a bigger interest in her brother than in herself and I can totally get how frustrating that would be. In particular since we got those flashbacks that showed us she was a bit jealous of all the attention Dex got from their father.

And I knew Paul was going to mess with Rita, argh! I'm so relieved it ended this way though. I was seething the whole time he was putting Rita through all this shit. And it also brought me the awesome scene of Dex and the pan. God, his face! lol Oh, it was priceless. Best facial expression ever, really!

Actually, I quite enjoyed the fact that we got to see both Ken and Barbie do mistakes this time. Dex with Paul and then Rudy with Angel - though Dexter was more successful with Dex. Well, considering Angel's situation, maybe Rudy did too. I don't know. We'll see... Still, it was funny seeing them do something that wasn't carefully planned. Spontaneous serial killers is funny to witness!

Onto the random:

  • Theo! Theo Huxtable was in the episode. And he was good, too :-)

  • Doakes was totally asking Deb out, wasn't he?

  • Speaking of Doakes, I adore the fact that he's so onto Dex. It's just quite funny seeing him make all those comments about Dex when we know he's 100% right in thinking there's something really wrong with Dex. I think the best moment was when Dex was thinking and Doakes all but "heard" his thoughts. Yeah, Doakes is dangerous, all right.

  • Though I have to say, each time I see Doakes? I think of Dearly Devoted Dexter and, dude!

I can't believe there're only two episodes left! What am I gonna do without my weekly Dexter fix? *sobs* No more Dexter, no more Heroes, no more Supernatural - though we do have new SPN this week, right? What about Numb3rs, then? New N3 on the 15th, too, is that correct? Dude, those hiatuses will be the death of me yet!

Speaking of Heroes, omg I can't wait to see it! I almost wish I could cancel my little dinner tonight lol
