Her Life is a WIP

Okay so first, my weekend. Was quite hectic and tiring - we left at 8.00 am on both days and got home at 9.30 pm. Add to that another hour to wrap everything up - but things went well. I also really enjoyed the show as it was a medieval show; with a tournament between four knights – both camps fought for Excalibur. My favourite knight was Arthur’s companion, Mélian d'Elis; he was the group’s woobie as he was always beaten up and always quite treacherously, too, as the Dark Knight and Igor, King of the Vikings – I kept calling him Sven in my head – always hit him in the back and stuff. Woobie!

Anyway, it was great. I 'saw' the show seven times – as much as you can see it while working over there – and I loved it each time. There was a little ‘incident’ though when during the falconry act, the eagle decided to take a hike and instead of going from point trainer-a to point trainer-b, it decided to pay a little visit to the audience, causing a hundred heart attacks in the process. It did it once on the first showing on sunday and twice on the second one… so Dad decided to, maybe, ask for a change during that part *cough*

As for the funny things you see when working there – there were two shows in the same area. The medieval show where my team worked and the other one where my BIL's team worked. At noon everyone ate at the same place but since the artists didn't have the time to change before the next showing they all kept their costumes, so in the same room were Mary Poppins eating next to the Dark Knight, sitting himself close to Pocahontas who was chatting up with an Elf Prince.

Dude, Big Top is always fun :-)

And second, DEXTEROMG! Or How I Watched The Season Finale and Died. ( Spoilers for Dexter 1x12 – Born Free )

And last night, I did some caps because I knew I’d want to share some Dexter goodness. ( Twelve Born Free caps inside. )

In conclusion. Best show in the world! I don’t think I didn’t enjoy a single episode. Not even kidding. Each new ep seemed to be better than the previous one and I’m so sad to see the show go. I don’t even want to know when we’re supposed to get the second season, it’ll be too far away anyway.

Also, if Michael C. Hall doesn't win the golden globe I'm gonna cry! I wish Dexter could win every award there is on this earth. The End.

Still no work to be done. Well, we had, like, fifteen students so far? And around, what, ten files? That's it. F-Girl is surfing e-bay, M-Boy is eating a chausson au pomme, D-Girl is playing with radioblog, even Boss Lady is watching video on a cha-cha competition thingie. As for myself, well, I'm obviously writing this entry. Yay, Compta Team \o/

Oh! I meant to tell you. The other day we had an officer come in to do the registration for his son and he was in full uniform and we might have looked at him quite intensely. He also might have noticed because when he left he winked at us lol We couldn't help it, though. Uniform kink and all that, right? And just five minutes ago, we had a priest. In full priest uniform, too, as they're wont to do, and I'm afraid I had some SPN uniform!kink badwrong thoughts *cough* Forgive me, Father, all right?

So! Onto other things now, namely the wonder that is Dexter. Oh, Dexter! I have SO MUCH LOVE for you that just thinking about you makes me high *dreamy sigh*

I can't believe there're only two episodes left! What am I gonna do without my weekly Dexter fix? *sobs* No more Dexter, no more Heroes, no more Supernatural - though we do have new SPN this week, right? What about Numb3rs, then? New N3 on the 15th, too, is that correct? Dude, those hiatuses will be the death of me yet!

Speaking of Heroes, omg I can't wait to see it! I almost wish I could cancel my little dinner tonight lol

Got some nice news today - Big Top time doesn't begin on Saturday as I thought but on Sunday. I've got a whole free day that I didn't think I'd have. To celebrate, tbf!Rissy is bringing me to Disney Village - as opposed to Eurodisney itself - on Sat for some Christmassy things. Well, hopefully they'll have started with the Christmassy things. In any case, it'll be a day away from Choisy and it's always nice :-) Then on Sunday, Big Top time begins; also meaning that I won't have a single day off til, what, Christmas Eve? Yes. Ha, and I thought I was tired before? The next four weeks should be interesting! After Big Top time and Regular Job time are both over and Classes are on Hiatus, I'll treat myself with a whole week of Big Nothing, mark my words *nods*

Anyway, onto the fannish things. Just watched Dexter and it might sound a bit redundant but hee New Favourite Episode! Man, that show is so fucking good I want to hug it and squish it and call it George! ( Spoilers for Dexter 1x08 - Shrink Wrap inside )

PS: Even though I've kinda totally stopped watching Prison Break, I couldn't not download the last episode after I heard about Something and seems like someone has read a lot of fanfics! Not that I'm complaining, mind you, because that was great *pets Michael* Also, PB is pure crack. I knew that when I was watching before, but going back to the show after a time really brings the point home, believe me lol Can't wait for the next episode now, unless the show is going in hiatus already, too?

I was a bit afraid of going to work this morning due to the - umpteenth - SNCF strike but it wasn't that bad. I had to let go two trains because saying they were packed would be like saying Jim and Blair are just good friends, ie it would be a ridiculous understatement, but the third one was empty! Like, I could even find a seat! Unbelievable *blink* I'm now hoping tonight won't make up for this morning 'easy' because getting home at 10.00 pm would suck, thanks.

Still haven't watched Numb3rs but Dexter and Heroes were squeed over and, man, those two shows OWN me! ♥ ♥

You know, reading the novel made me fall in love with the characters all over again - and what Lindsay did with Cody's character, as well as Pastor was quite the streak of genius - and it's also a great addition to the series. It's like I'm really seeing the character, that way. More than I did with 'just' the show. Though like I said, I do really like tv!Deb but I absolutely adore novel!Deb and I really wish they'd kept her. It's just sad that they didn't deem necessary to keep the original character's grumpiness. Show!Deb is a bit too... shiny and enthusiastic, I guess. She's great - I just regret the other version, is all.

Okay anyway, onto Heroes now. ( Spoilers for 1x06 Nothing to Hide )

I was thinking that today was an Extreme Uber!Slow Day but I started writing that entry at 9.15 and it's now 12.15 30 so I guess we did have stuff to do :-) Off to have lunch with The Girls and The Other Boy now.

I had an early night yesterday - going to bed/sleep at midnight is an early night, no matter what a lot of people say - but not before catching up with Heroes and Dexter.

Still on the subject of Dexter - the show airs on Showtime and the network website is a jerk who doesn't want foreigners to visit it and I need some help - I remember that I used to add something to the URL so that I could access it even from outside the US of A - does anyone can help me here? Thanks in advance.

Unrelated now, some time ago turps33 decided to play with the Five Things meme and I asked her about Five Ways Dean Bottomed for Sam because... well, because I'm me, I guess, and she delivered three of those five ways and I think you should check them out because they're all kinds of awesome :-)
