I GOT THE JOB! Former Boss Lady Now Turned Colleague - I get suck a kick out of it lol - called me to tell me that I was in! I start on Monday omg! *bounces* Better yet, it'd seem F-Girl - one of my former colleagues - got the other job and we might work in the same department! This is... almost too good to be true omg please don't wake me up!

I'm now off unemployment land... Next, I'm calling the ANPE and telling them that I'm cancelling my next appointment with them and why? Because I found a job WITHOUT THEIR HELP, ha! This should be good :-) Now let's just hope the job won't be too nightmarish or anything. Still, for now, I'm just really excited about the whole thing *g* I was, of course, mocked by The Best Friends because the association of words like 'Mouse' and 'financial services' is enough to make everyone laugh but I'm above all that, ha again!

And I received some lovely VDay cards today, which was also very sweet *g* I seem to be one of the few people on the flist who doesn't have Valentine's Day issues; I just can't seem to find any hate for that day or anything. I wondered about it since I stopped being single for a time and then was again but nope, nothing... I don't feel more lonely than yesterday - truth is, I don't feel lonely on a good day, anyway, so I guess that might be it *nods* Still, for those who feel down today, hey, I'm sending love your way because, man, with the good vibes I'm having right now? I have enough to spare ♥ ♥

Other things that are love:

• I'm 4.000 words into a new SPN fic. It's more an exercise in style than anything else, it's the whole Five Things type, you know? Except for now I'm stuck at Four Thing so I might have to ask one of you to read the thing and give me some ideas, maybe? Any takers? It's Sam/Dean, btw.


• I couldn't resist and watched the director's cuts for this week episode of SPN and I cannot wait, it's gonna be fun. And also, Kripke loves us ;-)


• I still have Heroes to watch.


• Life on Mars 2x01 is downloading heee. Sam! Gene! Annie!

Unrelated now; The Sis and I almost went and saw a building implode today. They demolished the Balzac towers in Vitry-sur-Seine and it was kind of an original thing to see but with the heavy rain and the windy weather, we decided to bail. Being cozy and warm indoors was more attractive somehow :-)

I seem to be one of the few people on the flist who doesn't have Valentine's Day issues

Somebody on my flist posted something a comics writer (Warren Ellis) said on the subject of Valentine's day and I'm totally using it from now on...

Always remember: Valentine's Day is a Christian corruption of a pagan
festival involving werewolves, blood and fucking. So wish people a happy Horny
