Wow, finding a real download for SPN was a nightmare today! But I was not defeated and finally found a not!corrupted! not!cut file and heee how awesome was that episode? No, I'm asking you!
A little comment first, though; there's no way, no way the big thugs didn't try to turn the Winchesters into their prags the minute the boys got in - as in, officially. We deserved more than just a mention in passing. I can totally forgive SPN for giving us a night that lasts five minutes, but this? Is just too unrealistic. Dude! There's Sam and his puppy look, Dean and hiscocksucker luscious lips and pretty eyes and just - they should have been fighting for their virtue all the time. Better yet, the inmates should have been fighting each other for the right to fuck Sam and Dean! The little fight we saw? Was nothing!
And now I promise I'll stop channelling my inner Vern Schillinger *cough* BUT STILL!
Though since I'm on the subject, it's weird to think that Sam and Dean went throught a thorough body cavity search for the sake of duty and respect for one of their father's friends. I mean, body cavity search! It's all kinds of wrong to think of this and Sam and Dean but I'm not the one who made them go to prison, okay?
And maybe Dean isn't the only one who watches too much prison show? Right, right, SHUTTING UP NOW *zips lips*
But seriously, I loved the episode! And I thought the dynamics between Sam and Dean was especially good! I mean, it usually is on principle, don't get me wrong but, I don't know, I thought they were both particularly bantery and all around awesome in the way they both reacted to the situation, know what I mean?
There were many, many great scenes: Dean and his getting into prison life - and he cracked me up when he didn't want to give away his fags, loved how Sam all but made him do it - Sam being on his case throughout the whole episode, Dean getting in Henricksen's face at the beginning, his apologies to Tiny. I quite enjoyed Sam's plan, btw. He's evil, that one :-)
But my two favourites scenes must be the mock fight in the yard and the scene right after that, with Deacon. Also, I might have squeed a little when it was revealed that the guard was, indeed, Deacon, because I loved all his contacts with Dean - I'm afraid I've developped a kink for characters who mistreat Deano *cough* - and it was awesome to see that he was one of the good guys. Loved how he cupped Dean's neck. I just love that gesture :-) And the Winchesters were too cute during that scene with him... I also loved the fond look he threw their way ♥ ♥
And Maura - or whatever Lawyer Lady's name was - was fantastic too! Go, you!
So anyway, that was an episode of love! And since I've been spoiled for next week's episode - dude, if it happens again for the big finale? I will cry - I can safely say that I might never recover from the end of the season. But I'll die happy :-)
Unrelated now. I've finally succeeding in catching a second episode of House on the telly Wednesday night and there was Sela Ward! I knew she played in the show but since I kept missing the episodes I kept missing her too - pretty logical so far - and it's done, I've seen her! Objectively speaking, I can acknowledge the fact that there are women who are even more gorgeous than she is but it's like I don't care. I completely lust after her; each time I see her again in a new show, it's like I'm falling in love all over again. To give you an idea, if Jensen Ackles sometimes makes me doubt my lesbianism? Sela Ward is the one who puts me back on the right track :-)
In other unrelated news; new Brodie Farrell novel coming out in May! One day after my birthday too, if that's not fate, I don't know what is :-) I'm still completely smitten with that series and I was looking around to see whether a new book was going to be released and lo, there is! It always amuses me to see the series labelled a 'mystery' though because it's just one of those books where you usually find who's the culprit fairly on in the story but it's not the reason why I'm into it, anyway. It's all about Daniel and Brodie and Jack. Heee I can't wait to meet them again! *bounces*

Don't bother on my account. :p
For what it's worth? I think Jensen makes every lesbian (and every straight guy) doubt their sexuality at least a little bit. ;)

It's natural, then, eh? Just what I thought!

Date: 2007-04-28 05:24 am (UTC)Yeah, that was fun. A bit of a stretch, perhaps, but fun nonetheless.
Looking at screencaps, I'm THOROUGHLY AMUSED by the boys' mugshots... ..they have Sam at 6'5, and he's slouching, and Dean at 6'3" and a half. HEE. And people were commenting on the bizzarity of the boys looking hot -=even in prison ornage jumpsuits=-... ..well frankly, I think that just proves they both look good in ANYTHING, but also, upon examining the screenshots? 90-some% of the inmates' jumpsuit sleeves came most of the way to their elbows... ..but the boys' only covered just a hair more than half their biceps. Subtle sexuality exploitation rocks my world, heeeee.
I was also caught off guard, not once, but TWICE by this ep! Normally I see right through plots, including twisty ones, but this one had me. I was wondering when Sam said he had spoke to Deacon about getting out... ..how? Prisoners don't get to make calls... ..but it never occurred to me that crankypants!guard WAS Deacon. Nicely played. And then I was flipping out as the feds were moving in on the graveyard... ..the cinematography did a GREAT job of building up that tension- -I was sitting there going noNoNO*NO*, they CAN'T get caught again.... ..oh wait, maybe they're on a wild goose chase. Yeah, she coulda lied.. -OH HECK YEAH, SHE DID!!! YOU ROCK, LAWYER LADY!!
Hee. I was thoroughly amused.
and I'd thought about the fact that a search must have occurred, but the, uhm, specific details had not crossed my mind... ..ew...

Oh boy do I love your attention to details!

Lol You're so good when you're bad ;-)

It's all kinds of 'ew' when you think about it, isn't it?

My mind has been full of prison thoughts and they're quite delicious I tell you. Much better than what was seen on screen ;)

Here is another of the link of the same download...
Date: 2007-04-28 03:47 pm (UTC)"Poor you with your corrupted file! But okay I've made a little clip of the two scenes I mentioned in my review - the ones you didn't get to see - and I've downloaded the file to YSI so that you can match image and sound (http://download.yousendit.com/D76E43AC54CE0226) *g*
It should work just fine *fingers crossed*
Just ignore the mistake in the title, btw."
