Of writing fic and smut.
Jul. 23rd, 2007 11:09 amHee internet is back at work *twirls* It's been down Thursday and Friday... or even as soon as Wednesday? The trauma was so great that I don't remember. I hadn't realised how much I enjoy working with music until couldn't anymore. And since The Cellie has gone on holiday already, I'm all alone in the office so it really sucked, this musicless situation.
Hope you had a great weekend, I sure did myself. It was quite French Posse - Original and New One - oriented. As well as Traveler related too. On Saturday I'd watched the last four episodes, like I said in my previous entry, and on Sunday I went back to the beginning with Cookie - who was a Traveler virgin - as we watched the first two. It was great :-) She said she was going to download the rest once she was back to her place so it's another pimping success story! \o/
And I'm also really happy with myself because before I went to pick her up in the afternoon, I started writing a Traveler fic! I wrote a story \o/ Well, okay, it's not finished yet so let's not get too excited, but I'm halfway through it and it's already 2500+ words... so, yes, I am a little bit excited. My double-drabble had made me happy so this? Makes me giddy :-)
Yes, I apparently like writing in small/obscure fandom; first Jeremiah, now this? Cancelled shows are teh shit, yo!
Also, it didn't go as planned; but, then, what else is new, right? I wanted to write a Tyler/Will/Jay angry&punishing&angsty sex!fic and they keep on talking and talking and talking and the sex is just not happening. Angry or not.
Mind you, I guess it doesn't help that I don't like writing smut to begin with. I mean, it's so tedious, you know? Reading smut is of the good, but writing it is all about 'whose arm is it?' 'whose dick goes in where'? And it mustn't be too long, but not too short and then I have not two but three guys and just thinking of writing the smut makes me want to hide.
It's like, when I see it in my head it's awesome and hot and I have a lot of fun, but as soon as I need to write down what I'm seeing, it loses its fun a little bit. I know that
turps33 shares the feeling, so if I'm a freak, at least I'm in good company...
