OMG!

You know the two episodes I've been waiting for all week? Well, "Be Still My Heart", ie the one where Lucy and Carter got stabbed, wasn't tomorrow but *today*!! Therefore, *the* episode where everyone will find them and try to save them --failing for Lucy-- is *tomorrow*!

I told you something would happen trying to prevent me from seeing them, right? Well, damn if I didn't almost miss the first part today! I started watching it, and suddenly, I realized it was the one! I literally grasped the first tape I could find, and threw it in the VCR. I don't really know what was on the tape, but I know what wasn't, and the risks aren't too important, so it's okay. It wasn't SG, nor TS, nor the Pretender, nor Quantum Leap, nor Once a Thief, nor... well, trust me, it wasn't anything important *relieved sigh*

Anyway, the important thing is, I finally have the first part on tape!! And tomorrow.. OMG, my Lucy dies tomorrow! I don't know how I'm going to stand the pressure! I swear when I saw the end of "Be Still My Heart", I had goosebumps all over. It was heartbreaking! To know that Carter and Lucy were laying there, dying when everyone is partying outside, unable to hear them... and to know that Lucy has been laying for maybe a long time, bleeding to death, alone and scared... this is just too much! Powerful scene, but *heartbreaking*, so sad, so difficult!

Tomorrow, don't even try to talk to me between 6.00pm and 7.00pm because I won't answer!! *knocks wood*

On another note. As you can see, I survived going out today *g* It *was* a little fresher, let's hope it's only the beginning. Anyway, apparently today was Anime Day, cos I bought the infamous "X" --by Clamp-- DVDs box. The same one that was so cheap, that I didn't buy at the time, and that disappeared when I finally decided I would buy it *sigh* Well, the DVDs were back today, and I thought, this time, I'm not going to let them go. So, I now have a new DVD box *g*

*glassy eyes* Fuma/Kamui.... Seishiro/Subaru.. oh yeah, baby! Okay, technically, X is *not* a yaoi, but there's enough gay themes in it for it to be interesting that way, and even if it's not a yaoi, it's still an awesome series! Dark dark dark, though, if you feel depressed, do not go there!

Now, I'm off to watch it *bouncing*

*bursts into tears at the memory* I honestly sobbes when I saw that. And then all throught the next episode. It's so hard to watch.

*eyes already filling up* The box of tissues is ready, believe me. I'm impatient to see it, you can't imagine, but at the same time, I'm a little afraid. I just loved Lucy so much *quivering lower lip*

I'm glad to hear that you survived the heat. *g* (We were suffering from the same thing a few weeks ago here...so...ugh.)

And CLAMP's X! I just saw the series on VCD last summer and I really liked it. The animation style is just lovely and the whole Seishiro/Subaru thing breaks my heart. (And yet...it's all the more beautiful because of that.)

So...congrats on getting the new anime! :)

A temperature of 50° every day for a couple of weeks was just starting to become unbearable. Not only on a personal and selfish way, but to a much bigger scale; in the last couple of weeks 3.000 people died because of the heat!! 3.000! I mean... I couldn't believe my ears when I heard it on the news. The hospitals and morgues were/are still overcrowded creating problems I won't develop here, but I guess you can imagine. The government has been totally incompetent on that one! They didn't do anything to try and help the hospitals or other medical facilities, and only decided of an emergency medical plan *yesterday*! I'm not into politics, but man, I'm kinda ashamed for them, I must admit.

Anyway... let's try not to dwell on negative thoughts, and let's go back to Subaru and Seishiro, shall we? *g*

CLAMP's X is just awesome, isn't it? I love CLAMP in general, I'm a big fan of their work, and X is definitely one of my favorites. Subaru and Seishiro being ones of my favorite characters as well. Their story is just so heartbreaking! And yes, it's all the more beautiful because of that.

Another thing I love in CLAMP is the cross overs they do. I mean, Subaru ans Seishiro are the best examples, but I was a little disappointed in the anime when I realized they apparently weren't going to include Akira, Suo and Nokoru like they did in the manga. In the anime, they apparently replaced them by an old guy...I don't understand why.

Anyway, the anime is still beautiful, and I just love it *g* I'm glad I finally succumbed to the temptation *g*

Sadly, I don't own the X manga, but I have seen scans (and the trio are so very pretty all growed up! *_*). It also confused the hell out of me when the old guy showed up instead of Nokoru. I stared at the screen and just went WTF? (I also wanted to see Keiichi as he's cute.)

Still...Seishiro/Subrau angst and Kamui/Fuuma angst and...there's entirely far too much angst going on in that series, which is probably why I love it so. That and the pretties. ;)


I did so love the crossovers they did in CLAMP Campus Detectives. (Still need to get the manga for that, though I do have Duklyon manga and Kentarou and Takeshi are adorable in it. Nokoru and Co. are beautiful as well. Damn CLAMP for making so many pretties...>_<)

When I first bought the manga, I remember that I'd bought several volumes at once. I got hooked on it immediately, and I couldn't believe how angsty the story was. And it was only the beginning! X is definitely one of my favorites!

I have the Campus Detectives mangas, and Duklyon as well. Also, I have Tokyo Babylon, at least the first volumes, and it's just so weird seeing Subary, Seishiro and Hokuto in it! They sure are totally different from X... but that's understandable seeing what happend *g* I like them better in X because they're more angsty, and more classy/classier, IMHO *g*

And yeah, CLAMP sure know how to make pretties! I'm waiting for a new manga of theirs, it should be released here in november or something like that, and it seems promising. It's called... *frowns* Ooops, sorry, I don't remember the original title, and I don't know if there's an English equivalent, I only know the French title right now.. anyway, it's about a young man who's found unconscious by an older man who's going to save his life. The young man stays at the older one's, and they start some business together. They work in a drug stores --or something like that-- during the day, and at night, they try to capture Spirits and other ghosts *g* As I said, it sounds promising, and I can already see the new pretties involved in the story! lol

I haven't own the TB manga, but I've read scanslations of the first volume. Very cute, thought I sometimes want to smack Subaru for being so...horribly cute and innocent, I guess. >_<

I tend to like Subaru and Seishiro in X better too...depressing, but...I like that about them, I guess. And they are more...elegant/classier, aren't they? *feels bad for Subaru*

I haven't read the manga you're talking about, but from what I know I think it's called Gouhou Drug (Lawful Drug) or something. I've seen some colored pics from the manga and once more hate CLAMP for making the pretties.

In fact, I have a winamp skin of one of the characters because of the pretties! o_O;;

Yeah, "Lawful Drugs" is the English title *g* I actually saw some scanlations of the thing yesterday while I was writing a new list of yaoi scanlations I wanted burnt for me (I don't have adsl so I have to ask my friends to do it for me, you know? *g*). I can't wait for the manga to be released here, but I think it should be soon. So, I see a new CLAMP sitting on my bookshelves in my near future *g*

I got a CD burner last month, and it's awesome indeed. Now, if I had ADSL as well, it would be perfect, because I just can't download and burn everything I want. But well, friends are there to help me with that *g*

Do you actually have scanlations or not? I mean, you don't have a CD burner, but did you have some CDs burnt for you by friends or the like? Cos if you don't, I could burn some for you, you know.

And I *know* I'm going to buy the new CLAMP. Scanlations are great, don't get me wrong, but I just love the real thing better *g*

Alas, I have no scanslations to call my own, but that's okay because as soon as I can affrod to (i.e. when I get a 'real' job) I plan to go on a manga buying spree. No manga store would be safe!

I write Gundam Wing, Here is Greenwood, and a little Weiss Kreuz well enough that the characters sound in character most of the time...>_< (Like I said, only a few series...^^;;)

And hey, the love thing isn't conditional on scanslations, it's sort of a general 'love' because you're like the kewlies!!!!!!1!

GW, uh? Would you by any chance write Treize/Zechs, then? Cos I know Heery and Duo are *really* cool, I'm not denying it, but my favorite character is Zechs --what can I say, I succumbed from the first time I saw him-- and I always slash him with Zechs, so... just wondering *g*

I've never actually written Treize, but I could give it a try if you want. (Zechs is a little harder for me to write, but I can do that.)

I love Treize and Zechs as characters and as a pairing as there's just something so very nice about that.

Heero/Duo was my favorite pairing when I first got into GW, but lately my friend has been trying to convince me that Zechs/Duo (post Endless Waltz) would be not only pretty, but workable. Damn her demon ways. Damn her! *shakes fist*

Well, if you don't mind writing about Treize, I wouldn't say no *g* I always thought that pairing was beautiful. Treize being the top in my mind *eg*

Heero/Duo is the pairing we see all the time, isn't it? I like it --one of my best cyber friends write *really* nice Heero/Duo, so I learnt to appreciate that pairing-- but it's true that my preference goes to Treize/Zechs.

As for Zechs/Duo... I never really thought about it. I'm curious, what is the dynamics in a pairing like this? Well, is there even a particular dynamics, I mean? *g*
