castalieHeroes is back! I squeed and bounced throughout the whole watching and I had a great time!
The Petrellis were LOVE ♥ Even with one of them unconscious or one of them being only a vision for the other, the love between them shines! I completely melted when Nathan kissed Peter on the cheek and melted even more when he told his little brother that he loved him. See, tv writers? Two men can say stuff like that, do stuff like that, and guess what? The world does not collapse! Dude, I'll always always be grateful for the Petrellis because those two give us all the Public [or Not] Display of Affection that we long for in other shows and kinda never get... here it's a kissing and touching and loving fest and there're no words for how much I love their relationship. The end.
Hiro got the sword! And then lost it because sorry, it was a fake, aww poor Hiro! His look and face when he realised it was a fake! *pets him* And so Isaac had painted right - I was curious about the dinosaur thing when we saw that painting last episode :-) Oh and the sign means something... I mean, actually means something and that was a nice touch.
Oh and Ando's "Maybe you need the sword to steal the sword" was just so Ando lol You do have some of the best lines in that show, man, seriously!
I squeed when Hiro and Ando arrived at Isaa'c and loved Hiro's reaction when he saw Nathan - loved the way he made his move, btw, very cute. But not as such as the whole Hiro-Nathan scene afterwards. Man, I love those characters SO MUCH! I love them individually but when they're actually together? Oh the love is off the scale!
The fact that it's in two parts delighted me more than frustrated me because it just means we'll get more! And I can't wait to see Peter with not!Nine. Who, btw, looked real fine like that... Speaking of Peter - dude, I had to rewind the scene when he wakes up several times because wow! That is one hell of a good scream. I loved it in the trailer but it was even better 'live'.
Claire got Zach back, YAY \o/

I also watched The Dresden Files. Okay so I'm only a newbie in that 'verse - only started reading the novels a couple of weeks ago - but I'm completely enamoured with novel!Harry and with, well, pretty much everything in that lit verse so, yes, there were things in the show that didn't add up. Then again, when does it ever with a tv adaptation?
I think you just have to see the two as different entities. I did like the episode and will definitely download the rest of the season, though. I think the one thing that really made me go 'wtf' is how Harry seems to have lost some of his, I dunno, loserness? I mean, Harry is a bit of loser. It's NOT an insult and that's one of the things I love with his character and the way he leads and sees his life. I guess American!tv just can't have that so they changed Harry enough that he still was himself... only not. Dude, whatever. Oh and I'm not sure what to think of what they did with Bob. But I think it'll be a bit like Deb in Dexter - I think I can like tv!Bob even if he's different from novel!Bob. As they say, different doesn't mean bad. As long as I can go back to the novels, it's okay, anyway, right?
So anyway, I do like the show. I'll just try not to compare the two, is all :-)
And I also watched Psych and heee it felt so good seeing Gus and Shawn again! I hadn't realised how much I missed them and their antics until I watched the episode *happy sigh* And Henry-Shawn is still of the good.
Lastly, someone linked to the Life on Mars series 2 trailer and it was really cute. Awww little puppet!Sam and puppet!Gene!
