I'm not really at my best today; my back is still hurting, I woke up with a cold and I'm still thinking about yesterday's news. As Wesley would say, sometimes you need to wallow.

Except not really because today isn't just about the no-so-great, so let's accentuate the positive. crazybutsound and her brother arrived at Teh Flat safely. It was years since I'd last seen Jem so it was really good seeing her again, and her brother is all kinds of cute and funny too. And don't think I'm obsessed with hair or anything but his reminds me of Charlie's, so it was a nice touch.

They left earlier to meet with a friend and then they'll be heading to their Decaydance concert - FOB, Panic! Etc etc... I guess I'll find two over-excited fans when they'll get home tonight ;-)

Unrelated now; it seems today's theme is Resurrecting the Love for Abandoned Shows. First Lost, then Prison Break. Thing is, s3 Lost really is all kinds of awesome and now I have this urge to get my hands on the whole season so that I can mainline it in one sitting - or two, but you know what I mean - instead of having to wait Monday for new eps. And then this morning tya_rc linked to the promo for PB s3 and, dude, it made me bounce and squee. I felt like September couldn't come too soon. I think I'd forgotten how very cracked that show is!

And apparently Faf Larage is the official singer for everything Prison Break? So we had the Pas le Temps rap song of his for s1 and now we have C'est pas ma Faute for s2. But I have to say that the song kinda caught my interest because there were many scenes that looked pretty interesting... as a result, I'm thinking of trying s2 again. Yes, I'm easy, what else is new?

so Lost season 3 rocks, hey? who knows, maybe I'll give it another try - but right now, I'm DLing Californication and Pushing Daisies (someone pimped it to me *g*).

*squee* September is right around the corner! new shows! oh, and btw, how is Dexter this season?

Yes, I'm really getting into that season, so it's nice. As for your trying Pushing Daisies I just have one thing to say 'YES'! Hope you'll like it as much as I did *g* I've heard about Californication, though so far I haven't felt the urge to try it...

I can only talk about the first two episodes that 'leasked' on-line because s2 hasn't started yet, but yes, the season opening was pretty nice.

I was thinking about you, actually, considering you've watching it recently. I still have in mind your post about Charlie... I'm so nervous now! I can't wait to know what happened.

A mon avis, on aura jamais une chanson PB qui vaille le coup *sigh* Quant aux spoilers, vu que la chanson est sur la saison 2, bah elle en est remplie, c'est clair.

As perhaps the only person on my flist who never gave up on Lost, I'm glad to see that a few of you, like little lost lambs, are returning to the fold. :-)

Yesterday I saw the post about your uncle and meant to comment, but then other stuff got in the way, and by the time I got home (a 3.5 hour trip which included 90 minutes of standing around and waiting because of missed bus connections), everything except dinner and collapsing on the sofa had flown out of my mind. All I can say, Mouse, is that families can be incredibly stupid and cruel sometimes. I think you have every right to be angry on your father's behalf, and on your own as well.

Hope your back feels better soon, sweetie. And a summer cold on top of everything else ... meh! :-(

Lol I do, don't I? I guess I just never got over the LOST fiasco and could never accept that a show that was so very awesome could let me down like that *is a crazy fangirl*
