That's the dicton du jour - the saying of the day? October 4th, what a lovely date, isn't it? It's the anniversary of the first run of the Orient Express, of the adoption of the flag of Bermuda and Snoopy's first appearance. October 4th is also the day the launch of Sputnik I happened. As well as the day the Fifth Republic of France was established.

Oh. And it's also the day WE GET OUR WINCHESTER BOYS BACK!

The episode was offered by iTunes so some of you have already watched it, I've heard? I'll wait impatiently til Saturday to watch it myself as Sandrine is picking me up after work tomorrow and then spending the night at Teh Flat, it's the HSM Night, remember? My nephew will be with her; we'll have a cosy night, the three of us. I can't wait :-)

Speaking of great stuff; I've just read my Very First Pushing Daisies fic! It's Five Ways the Piemaker Doesn't Kiss Chuck. Yes, it's Chuck/Ned. Which, for those not in the know, means it's het.

Pushing Daisies is the new show that made me add yet another ship to my Ship List, right next to Lilah/Wesley and Dexter/Rita and, okay so I can't remember the other ships on that list right now but I swear I have more than just those two! Or three if you count Chuck/Ned.

Anyway, awesome show. Awesome ship. Awesome fic!

well, some shows are easier to pimp than others, aren't they? what's the show you had the hardest time pimping, O Professional Pimper? or is it just a matter of knowing your audience and pimp the right things to the right person?

and I loooove that they leak episodes before - hell, how are you going to build a pre-fan base otherwise!

Well, pimping is a matter of knowing your audience and pimping the right thing to the right person, yeah. Like, there're shows I know you wouldn't enjoy so I don't even try to pimp them your way. I'll still talk about them but I'll usually know that it won't mean anything and not even sparkle the slightest interest.

Yeah, leaking those episodes to the us before the actual premiere is a streak of genius; TPTB don't have to do anything but 'leak' the episode and the fanbase will take care of the pimping so that when the show does premiere, they will already have fans and curious people watching it.

Je suis à la maison, au moins ce matin. J'ai pris rendez-vous chez le médecin pour cet après-midi après le boulot; comme ça si je vais bosser ou bien j'annule ou j'y vais quand même mais ça sera après le taf, et si je me sens vraiment pas mieux, bah j'aurais toujours mon rendez-vous.

J'ai l'impression d'être au Pôle Nord, là, mes mains sont glacées; encore plus que d'habitude, ce qui n'est pas peu dire quand on sait que j'ai les mains glacées même quand il fait pas froid.

Ce qui m'emmerde, c'est que vu comment ça se passe au boulot, j'ai un peu stressé ce matin à l'idée de ne pas y aller, tu sais ? Et après je me suis dit, merde, je vais pas laisser le boulot me bouffer la vie, quand même. Et au final, ma chef n'a rien dit. Comme quoi.

Tiens au fait, j'ai eu une pensée pour toi ce matin, j'ai téléchargé SPN et au final, le fichier m'a dit que pour le lire, fallait que je télécharge divocodec ou je sais plus quoi. Vu les soucis que t'as eu, j'ai pas trop apprécié le message, évidemment.

Je savais bien que ça cachait quelque chose ce téléchargement, c'était trop beau pour être vrai lol

c'est vrai que ca tombe plutot mal de tomber malade alors que le boulot se passe comme ca... mais bon, heureusement que tu ne t'es pas forcee a y aller par peur de le leur dire - j'espere que tu te sentiras mieux bientot, ne serait-ce que pour pouvoir profiter de ton weekend et te reposer pour de vrai...

re: divocodec: j'espere vraiment que ca va arreter et que la plupart des fichiers ne vont pas se mettre a nous faire le coup parce que sinon je sens que ca va etre un vrai champ de mine pour avoir nos series! Je ne sais pas s'il n'y a pas un vrai codec pour ca, mais je n'ose vraiment plus essayer de le choper - on n'est jamais trop prudent lol

Hier j'ai eu une journée tout à fait normale, donc ça m'a vraiment fait du bien. En espérant que la semaine prochaine se passe mieux que les jours passés, voire comme hier *fingers crossed* Ca allait très bien pendant un moment et là ces deux dernières semaines, ça a été un peu la merde. C'est dommage. Mais bon.
