Kaamelott love!

Dude! I just watched Kaamelott and it was so awesome! Wow. I was pretty excited about the new hour-long episodes but it exceeded all expectations I could have.

I love, love how the latest seasons have been a savant mix of angst and drama and still pure comedy. And tonight's episodes were off the scale. It made me laugh my ass off, it made me cringe, it spooked me and it made me tear up too! It was funny and creepy and angsty and tender all rolled into one.

Man, that show rocks! ♥ ♥

I'm glad I got home in time to watch it live :-) Mind you, I'd warned everyone I needed to be home at 20h50 so there was no way I would have missed it...

Unrelated now. Mini NaNo is still going strong. I finished the TS fic I mentioned the other day. I kept it light and 'unassuming' in order not to freak myself out, a sort of easing myself back into writing in a gentle way and everything, you know? Possibly I'm overanalysing it all but, hey, I wrote! I finished fic! It's fine with me *g*

Let's keep this entry disjointed til the end; omg my Wonderfalls download is finally done! All thirteen-or-fourteen episodes \o/

Speaking of, Mousey? Please to be loving that show when you'll watch it, okay? Cause it'd be sad if BitLord and Dean had worked for 46h25mn27s for nothing, kthxbai.

ETA: Okay, not even four minutes in the episode and it's already cracking me up! Very, very good start *nods*

Je suis contente de pas etre la seule à tripper sur Kaamelott!
Deja que j'etais une super fan de Alexandre Astier mais avec ce soir, j'ai cru mourir. Ce livre V a eu certes, des moments assez longs mais la trame generale etait vraiment bien traitée et l'angst jamais lourde grace à l'humour.
Astier etait magnifique ce soir, hot comme pas permis et la scene de fin m'a fait hurler. J'ai hate de voir ce que donnera le Livre VI !!

Il l'était, hein ? J'ai bien essayé de trouver une scène favorite mais j'y arrive pas; y en avait trop. Et j'ai adoré Guenièvre aussi. Quand elle sauve Arthur à la taverne j'ai applaudi tellement ça m'a fait plaisir :-)

Et cette scène de fin omg ! Nan sérieux, il nous faut la suite. Et tout de suite !

If you understood French or if I were brave enough to tackle the translation of Kaamelott, I'd totally share some episodes with you because it's such an awesome show!

It started as this pure comic series and then it evolved and the characters started going through life-altering changes and now the show has a much darker tone, though it's still really funny. It's one of those shows that is able to make me laugh out loud and never want to stop. And then it'll make me tear or creep me out a bit or worry me and just hee I love Kaamelott so much!

J'aurai jamais crû que Kaamelott puisse m'émouvoir, sérieusement. J'étais touchée par les scènes d'Arthur avec le petit bout et la scène où il est avec son père adoptif... J'ai bien rigolé aussi ça va de soi.

Moi non plus. Et pourtant c'est bien ce qu'a réussi AA et son équipe dans ces deux épisodes. La scène avec Anton, ça doit être l'une de mes favorites, elle était tellement touchante et triste et belle... mince, j'ai trop hâte de la revoir !

I so understand your worry about loving Wonderfalls. I know you did, but at the time. I've often downloaded whole seasons, and all the time wasted if I hated a new show.

Still, it's a risk worth taking :)

This is why I usually like to download the episode one by one, because it I hate it, at least I won't have wasted time downloading the whole seaosn; especially as I'm always downloading some of my favourite shows, so if I have to delay those for a little while, it has to be for a good reason.

But, yes, it is a risk worth taking; case in point *g*
