Going away...
Jan. 3rd, 2008 01:11 pmI haven't had the best of sleep the past two nights. First I dreamt that someone broke into my place and stole everything, and I do mean everything, and, dude, that was a sucky dream! And then, last night, I woke up to what sounded suspiciously like explosions... I didn't really get what was happening - at 4.00 AM, I'm not always 100% there - when someone in the yard started talking to someone in the building and was trying to warn them that they'd better park their cars somewhere else because cars were burning! It made sense, then, yeah, it did sound like cars 'exploding'.
I have no idea whether some retards decided to make a bonfire with the cars in the street or if it was an accident but that was my night. I really feel sorry for the persons who lost their cars, though, talk about a way to start the year.
I love Choisy but, sometimes, it sucks a little. Though, hey, it might have been an accident. It's just that I've been hearing police cars more than usual today so...
Anyway. I guess my timing is perfect since I'm going away for a little week. I'm leaving tomorrow for Brest (Brittany) with my friend Rissy. We'll road trip there - road trip à la Bretonne! - and then I'll stay at her place and come back on Sunday. And Monday morning I'm leaving again, with Sandrine and Lucas this time. We're going to St-Jean-de-Luz - obviously the pictures on the site were taken during summer so it'll be different now but still - in the South of France (pays Basque) and we'll be home on Friday. We'll be staying at Olivier's grandmother's beach house, should be nice *g* Let's just hope it doesn't rain every single day of my stay *fingers crossed*
Oh and completely unrelated but I made my own cheesecake! Okay so I'm not ready to abandon my Starbucks cheesecake, but I'm pretty proud of myself, anyway *g*

Are you all ready for the roadtrip? All packed? You're going to have so much fun! *g*

And did I pack? Dude, of course not lol I'll be all packed tonight, around midnight, before going to bed, I guess. As usual *cough*

Date: 2008-01-03 11:58 pm (UTC)Heh, by the way, I hope your ears didn't ring too much today ... Your name came up when I mentionned to the Bf I was going to be in Lyon on the week-end of our 3rd-month anniversary, and since he's a little jealous, he asked a lot of questions about the infamous "FP" and O Misery! I mentionned you were into girls! Cue insecurities! Cue "not all people with compatible sexual orientations fancy each other" speech! Cue "no the FP is not code for Lesbian Orgies!" speech! Having a boyfriend is tiring, I tell you *g* (oh, although you won back all your points when I told him you were the one who pimped Pushing Daisies originally lol)

Oh, so that's why! lol Hail to my winning back points! All thanks to tv, which is of the yay :-)
