To those who watched Angel yesterday.
May. 6th, 2004 11:50 amOkay, okay, let's take a deep breath. I saw lots of spoilers flying around my flist for yesterday's Angel and I NEED to know :
*sigh* So okay, the damage was already done, but it's not a reason not to change it *g* So Was Andrew in the episode? Please tell me!
Tellmetellmetellme! We wants to know, we needs to know.
Thanks a bunch
Also, I received some feedbacks for I Follow the Night and am wondering if I'm not going to be known as the Girl Who Was Mean to Jim and Blair now *blink*
Interesting take at is the term that comes back the most. I like that *g* Though I'm almost afraid to post Prince Charming now, 'cause *this* one is going to have me axed or something lol Poor Jim... I mean sure, *I* wrote him, but in the end, he's the one who seems to be the tough one, know what I mean? *pets him*
Also, I never thought I would say this, but I started a The Faculty slash series (Zeke/Casey) and it's *great*! It's post-movie so we don't have anything cheesy or B-movie-ey about the storyline. It's an angst fest and it's complex and the characterization is just really interesting. Well in other words, I'm having a blast reading this Borderlines series.
Thanks to
vshendria for writing the story (I owe her a feedback as a matter of fact) and
paddyg for rec'cing it. I don't think I would really have thought of trying it otherwise. Though you never know, I like to experiment new fandom or pairings from time to time *g*

Date: 2004-05-06 06:42 am (UTC)I'm glad you like Borderlines -- it's strangely compelling and addicting, isn't it? And you are thinking about writing some The Faculty slash, too? And be mean to Zeke and Casey? *big happy smile*
I can't wait to read Prince Charming. You're my new crack!

Date: 2004-05-06 06:58 am (UTC)I asked for it, didn't I? lol
I *love* it yes, thanks again for rec'cing it *g* It's strangely compelling, exactly. As for the addictive part- tell me about it!
And I was more thinking of trying the fandom as a reader than a writer as a matter of fact lol TS and SG seem to be enough for me *g*
I can't wait to read Prince Charming.
I posted (http://www.livejournal.com/users/castalie/181987.html#cutid1) it yesterday at my LJ actually *g*
You're my new crack!

Date: 2004-05-06 08:51 am (UTC)First, hot hot hot.
And totally carnal.
I loved it and it's a fantastic new twist on the sentinel marking his guide theme.
Beautiful turns of phrase, nice styling and inner dialog.
Character voice was a little suspended, I think because of the tenseness of the situation and the dynamic of the story.
But I don't think it suffered too much for it.
Nice strong Blair, standing up to Jim on his own two solid feet. Nice non-feminized Jim with barely controlled rage and sexuality.
Very.
I enjoyed it.

Oh, great description, thanks! Yeah, that's pretty much what I wanted the atmosphere to be like, so I'm definitely glad you saw it that way *g*

I've been wanting to write something different for a long time, so I was so happy when I finally wrote it down. Even happier to see some people accepted and liked me- or is it followed Jim and Blair? *g*
Beautiful turns of phrase, nice styling and inner dialog.
Wow, thank you so much *g* I tried to take great care in the way I told the story, so I'm definitely rewarded right now *g*

Definitely glad you thought so. I mean, I couldn't (or didn't want to, but in the end, it's the same thing *g*) use the same character voice I usually use or usually read. Seeing how different the situation is, I wanted a different voice- of course, I'm delighted to see you didn't think it was too far from Jim and Blair either, because I wouldn't have wanted their whole dynamic to suffer from it. Now, the second part might be different, but well, it's done, right? *g*
Nice strong Blair, standing up to Jim on his own two solid feet. Nice non-feminized Jim with barely controlled rage and sexuality.
Definitely great compliments *g* I wanted a rougher and harder edge for *both* of them, so here again, I'm happy to see it apparently worked. No wimpy!Blair for me.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks again for taking the time to let me know *g* Feedbacks are always appreciated, as you can imagine *g*

Know what? I thought it over, and you're right. That's a title I'd already gained with some of my older TS stories! lol It's okay then, nothing new here *eg*
