castalieAfter weeks of trying to find a date that would suit everyone, some of my friends and I finally had our Fondue au Chocolat Day. Imagine a regular fondue, except that instead of melted cheese, you have melted chocolate, and instead of dipping pieces of bread etc in it you'll dip biscuits and pieces of fruits and just whatever else strikes your fancy. We had different kind of dry biscuits with bananas and pears and meringue. Absolutely delicious *smacks lips*
The good food - and good company - made me feel better because I haven't been feeling that well this weekend. My body is acting weird, if you want to know. My hand and wrist - the left one, of course, or else it wouldn't be fun - have been hurting. The hand especially has been acting up; it's numb, then it's tingling, then it's hurting, and I usually have cold hands but I broke some kind of record this weekend. My first thought was 'carpal tunnel' but that's pretty much my first thought each time I feel the slightest pain in my wrist/hand, so I don't know...
And I've apparently discovered that I might be Jim Ellison's lil sister because my skin is hurting. That is, on my left arm. I'm not kidding; it's the oddest feeling but the slightest touch hurts; be it my fingers hovering, or the sleeve of my shirt. Odd. And not nice *makes face*
I'd better sleep tight tonight though because tomorrow... I have a job interview \o/ Let's not break out the champagne yet though because a) obviously I don't have the job yet and b) it's a temp job so it won't put a permanent end to my unemployed status, it'll just break it for a couple of weeks but! It's still exciting because a) job interview! Finally! And b) if I do get the job, it'll have to do with translating. Awesome :-) Now, let's just hope the English they need isn't some kind of specialised English type *fingers crossed*
Random Fact of the Day; the past week, I've seen three different characters in three different shows wear the exact same shirt. Josh in Kyle XY. Dude I Don't Know in Vanished - I don't watch that show, just caught a scene and I noticed the same shirt. And Random Chinese Refugee in jPod. Looked like a threadless shirt to me but I couldn't find it in the catalogue, so I guess I was wrong...
