Dude. I didn't light enough candles, it'd seem. Jared Padalecki cancelled Asylum. Again. I'm starting to think that con is cursed as far as teh padalecki is concerned.

Well, I was hoping for a third Asylum, I guess I'll start again with the candle thing soon. For next year. Maybe the third time will be the charm.

Good thing they didn't make the announcement yesterday because no-one would have believed them! Except for how it was always a bit expected but, still...

They're talking about a replacement but apart from Jensen Ackles or Jeffrey Dean Morgan, there's no-one else who could equal Jared for me *shrug* I mean, I'd love to see Jim Beaver, that's for sure, but in term of Big Name, it's one of the J3 and that's it.

Well, what can you do, right?

It does, doesn't it? I mean, I'm sorry for the secondary characters/actors but I don't go to Asylum to see them. It might sound harsh but that's how it is.

I go to Asylum to to see Jensen or Jared or JDM. And I will enjoy all those other actors, yes, that's true, I'm not denying it, but they're not the reason why I'd spend so much money to go to a con. And that's a fact *shrug*

I really was looking forward to seeing Jared. Especially as he was supposed to go last year already and had already cancelled on us. That con has been cursed, I'm telling you!

They weren't supposed to be here in the first place so it's not a question of them 'changing their minds' per se but I sure would love it if they were asked to take Jared's place now. Either of them.

And he's going to film Friday 13th, that's why. The schedule just doesn't work out, sadly.

I totally get that a movie does, indeed, come before a convention - he's an actor, that kinda comes with the territory - but I sure wish the schedule worked in our favour for once *sigh*
