castalieToday isn't going to be such a good day; my back decided to act up again, and this time the pain actually woke me up at 5.20 am-- definitely a capital offense in my book! I still can breathe normally though, but I sure can't move my upper body. Charming.
Anyway, let's focus on yesterday's activities, shall we? You know, even though I'm a pretty sappy and sensitive girl, I seldom get sappy about my flist-- even though you know how much I enjoy reading all of you, but yesterday? Wow, you sure had me in sappy mode, I swear *g*
My inner megalomaniac really felt loved and all-- seriously though, it was really sweet of you, so thank you a lot *g* I thanked everyone privately already, but I just wanted to say how much I'd appreciated it *g*
Also, I received some awesome cards! Real cards, eCards and hand-made cards as well, there were cards everywhere *g* I just have to share, because when I'm happy about something, I want to share, so there *g*

turps33 made me one of the most beautiful card ever, and babycakesin and absinthfire made their own cards here and here, which hotness and yumminess will be remembered always *nodnod* Because Dave wishing me a happy bday or slave!Daniel looking at me? It's the stuff of dream, really!

As for my little family celebration. On the actual birthday date, we usually just do it between ourselves, ie the five of us, so that's what we did last night. We'll celebrate it again with my godfather, aunt, cousins on Monday. I didn't want a bit party for my 25th bday though, so there won't be 80 cousins, this time *g*
Anyway, we had a very relaxed evening, with a beautifully dressed up table and Chinese food. We always ask for a favourite meal on that day, and each year I ask Chinese, because I just can't get enough of Chinese. For dessert I had my favourite gâteau as well, un fraisier so um... a strawberry cake? Anyway, it was very yummy.
As for my pressies now *eg* Well first, my dad gave me a bunch of roses, white red androse pink, and there were 25 of them! My daddy is so classy and always so thoughtful *hugs him tight* Then my sis and Henry gave me Buffy S6 part 2, and I squeed pretty loudly when I saw it because Buffy! S6! Andrew! Storyteller! Well, pretty much squee material all around. And I got money on my grand-father's behalf, and from my parents too. Enough to make me a really happy camper lol
Now, see, I was 'supposed' to get a pretty special present from them, but uh there was a change of plan, which I'm sure upset them more than me, though yes I would have *loved* to get it, I've been coveting it for *months*, but I am not complaining about the money, because I know *exactly* what I'm going to do with it *eg* Can't talk about it yet, because I'm afraid to jinx myself and when things look too pretty there has to be a catch somewhere, but in the meantime, I'll keep on dreaming lol Besides, I think I'm going to get myself a pretty DVD boxset... 6FU or Frasier or I don't know what exactly now, so many boxsets to buy... and enough money to get one now *beaming*
*And* I also received a very beautiful gift fromturps33, so thanks to her I picked... the DVD of RoTK! Thank you again, sis! *hugs*

I'm sorry, I'm a spoilt brat, and I love every minute of it! lol
