Dude, I like being a girl, I feel fine in my own skin and everything, except for one time every month where I'd just like to genderswap myself and wait a couple of days before going back to my girliness - when it's safe doing so. If I could do that and avoid the pain, I totally would.

Mind you, if I had the power to genderswap myself, then it could mean I would also have the power to just, I don't know, stay a girl but stop the pain? I guess I need to think of how it all works, that power. I'll get back to you on that. When I'm not bent in half because of the pain, 'kay?

To distract myself, I watched Heroes 3x01 and 3x02. I'm... not exactly sure what happened to be honest *blink* But it'd seem Kring is still on crack. Guess he couldn't make the show without a good stash nearby? I just have two spoilery comments about the season opener - so Mohinder is actually the one who invented Promicin? Talk about a revelation! And I'm sorry but his ability was pretty lame. Then again I usually don't like those enhanced physical abilities kind of powers - being super strong or super fast is just so lame for me. I like the mental powers best.

Sometimes I think I'd like to take a shot of Whatever if it meant I could have special powers... then I think about it a bit more carefully and wonder whether the risk would be worth it. Because with my luck? I'm sure I'd get the power to, like, change the colour of my socks. Might be fun when you're bored and don't have a book at reach hand or anything, but still a bit lame as far as powers go, you'll have to admit.

It'd seem everyone decided to become stupid and do even stupider things in those two episodes. It was like a contest in who would screw up the most. Though I have to say I almost felt bad for future!Peter by the end because, seriously, how many screw-ups can a single guy be responsible for? Poor little dude!

I also read all the fics I'd tabbed the past week and had yet to read. I mean, I've read them all. I don't have a single tab left... I feel empty now. I think I'll go and check out what recs my del.icio.us network is sharing because having no fic!tabs opened seems wrong somehow.

Oh! And since it's officially Friday here now it means that a) it's SPN Day and b) Connotations is exactly in a week! *loves on a and b*

PS: I turned the beta testing of the profile page on... and immediately turned it off. Will it surprise anyone if I say I dislike the new look immensely? Yeah, I really don't like changes. It is a bit pathetic, I'll admit.

For me, it wasn't the pain so much as the mess. Sooo many times I wished that we had an internal sphincter to shut block the bleeding. Then it would open when we went to pee anyway, empty both 'reservoirs' at once, and go on our merry way. No tampons, pads, whatever... heaven!

Or else, have the ability to turn it on ONLY if we wanted to conceive a baby. Otherwise, no pain, no mess, no worry about birth control... \o/

Same thing here, then. But, seriously, it was almost ridiculous. And Peter was like Murphy's Law in action... except for how he was the one responsible for everything that could go wrong actually going wrong, as opposed to just the universe being to blame.

As for Hiro, why, there's no words for how stupid what he did was. Though the whole 'DO NOT OPEN THE SAFE IT COULD DESTROY THE WORLD, OKAY? KTHXBAI' wasn't bad either. Actually, this made me laugh.

Strangely enough I can't really put him in the sale 'lame-o power' category I was talking about.

I mean, technically you're right, this is a enhanced physical kind of thing but it's so, I don't know, subtle too, that I don't find it lame. I mean, here's a guy who can hears someone's heartbeat. This is pretty poetic to me :-)

J'étais perplexe pour Heroes avec le premier épisode, mais je me suis vite réconciliée avec le deuxième (même si Mohinder est stupide, en fait il l'a toujours été mais je ne pensais pas qu'il pouvait l'être encore plus lol).
J'adore Madame Petrelli par contre, elle me fait trop trippé.

J'ai hâte de voir ce qu'ils vont faire pour la suite.
